Compassion is one of the purest forms of the expression of love. Compassion is a commonly used word, and most people are understandably inclined to equate it with kindness.

However, the scope of its meaning and application goes far beyond mere kindness. Its expression is a veritable reflection of the potential bigness of the human heart. It involves the willingness to do four things. Put yourself in someone else’s shoes, take the focus off yourself, imagine what it’s like to be in someone else’s predicament, and then feel love for that person.

Compassion is a profoundly silent and tender feeling which manifests as a constantly self-relinquishing demeanor. It elevates one above a self-centered existence, enabling one to reside in the hearts of others, and to think and feel with them. Human agony demands tenderness and help. Compassion feels that agony and goes ahead to alleviate it. Today's episode showcases a woman in a classic setting of compassion. Her name is Kishma George.
