Abiding TV

Most of us have areas in our lives where we need a breakthrough. Maybe you feel like you are just spinning your wheels or that, no matter what you do, nothing seems to work out right. If so, please read on.

God wants you to receive everything Jesus paid the price for, and He wants you to recover everything that you have lost. Whether you need a breakthrough in your health, your finances, relationships or some other area, you need to know that He delights in making a way where there seems to be no way.

In Isaiah 43:19, God said, “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” It’s not time to give up. It’s time for a fresh start.

Lost…and Found
In 2 Kings 6:1-7 there is a rather obscure miracle involving the prophet Elisha.  He and a group of young prophets were getting ready to build an addition onto their school, when one of the men encountered a setback.

In verses 4-5 we read, “…When they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees. But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron axe head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.”

This might not seem like a big deal to you, but the fact that the axe head was borrowed made it an especially painful loss for the young prophet. The Jordan was a muddy and dangerous river and, in the natural, there was very little chance of the axe head being recovered. Not only that, but it was made of iron which was rare and valuable in those days. The young prophet couldn’t just go into a store to get a replacement.

“So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float. Therefore he said, “Pick it up for yourself.” So he reached out his hand and took it” (2 Kings 6:6-7).

Notice that when Elisha heard of the problem, he didn’t despair and say, “This is hopeless!” Instead, he cut a stick and threw it into the water. It was just an ordinary stick, but spiritually, it represented the cross. When the cross was applied to the problem, the iron axe head miraculously floated to the surface!

God’s solution is always the cross, and He wants you to recover everything you have lost. Whatever it is, when the cross is applied, you get back what you lost.

Wholeheartedly Pursue God
Did you notice that the young prophet had to pick up the axe head for himself? While the cross – the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ - is the provision for your recovery, you need to reach out, grab it and seize it by faith. You cannot be passive and receive all God wants you to receive.

That is why reading the Bible, praying, worshiping God, being actively involved, giving and serving in the local church are so important. They all have a part in your wholehearted pursuit of God.

Unless you are pursuing God with all your heart, you may be disappointed with Christianity. Why? Because Christianity is about losing your life so you can connect to the good life God has for you (see Galatians 2:20).

Jeremiah 29:13 records this promise from God: “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jesus spoke of having a wholehearted devotion to God when He said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37). Indeed, Christianity was never meant to involve seeking God with half your heart.
How About You?
We saw that the stick Elisha threw in the water represented the cross, but do you know what the axe head represents? It represents God’s power. It is His grace and His ability operating in your life.

It is possible to lose the axe head but keep on swinging away, hoping that no one will notice that something is wrong. Maybe you are still doing some of the right stuff: you are still going to church; you are still with your spouse, but not loving him or her the way you should; you haven’t abandoned your kids, but you are not leading them; maybe you are throwing a tip in the offering plate, but you are not tithing.

Perhaps it feels like you have lost something, like something is missing and you want it back. You are swinging but nothing is happening because there is no power of God, no grace of God, no supernatural effect on what you are doing.

The question is: Where did it fall? When you identify where you lost it, you can apply the cross.

Where Did It Fall?
Maybe you entered into a wrong relationship or compromised your integrity by shifting a standard that should have been set in stone. Perhaps you participated in conversations that did not glorify God, or maybe you got discouraged and stopped reading the Bible and praying, stopped spending time with the Lord.

Is it possible that you got lazy in your church attendance and service? Perhaps God nudged your heart to do something and you said “no,” and now you aren’t doing the last thing God told you. Could you possibly have stopped walking by faith and started trying to figure everything out by sight? Or did someone treat you wrong, and you got bitter and won’t forgive them?

Maybe you started making decisions without consulting God. Or you may have surrendered to an addiction or stopped fighting a temptation. Perhaps you rebelled against a God-given authority, and now it seems there is no power of God in your life.

Did you believe the lie from the devil that there is no grace, no love, no more forgiveness for you? Or are you just not pursuing God with your whole heart, but instead seeking things first rather than seeking first the kingdom?

God Cares
If God cared about one man’s lost axe head, don’t you think He cares if you have enough to eat or not? He cares that you have enough money to make your house payment. He cares about your job. He cares about you if you don’t have a job and are looking for one. He cares if your house is cold or your tires are bald.

Jesus said in Luke 12:7 that the very hairs on your head are numbered. God not only knows exactly how many hairs you have, He also knows each one by number. If He is that concerned that much about your hair, you can be certain that He knows and cares about everything that is going on in your life today.

Take It Back
Lamentations 3:22-23 says: “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” Ours is a faithful God who specializes in recovery of the lost!

You may have lost the power, the grace and favor of God in the Jordan of your life, but you can apply the cross of Jesus Christ, and reach out and take it back by faith. When you do, your connection with God and His power will be restored.

1 John 1:9 tells us, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” God is a God of full recovery. No matter what you have lost, you can have it back. Just identify where you lost it, confess any sin God reveals to you, and turn to Him, praying:

Father, thank You that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes. Right now, by faith, I take the cross of Jesus Christ and apply it to my life. Thank you that there is forgiveness, that bondages are broken, that my heart reconnects with You, and that my passion for you is restored. Father, thank you that the things that have gotten between us melt away just like the mountains melt at Your presence, O Lord. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Even in the flesh, 'Jesus' in the fiercest of weather, in a boisterous wind and troubled sea. All He could feel/see was peace.

I wonder what beautiful dream Jesus was enjoying in that sleep,"probably relishing in His glory after Resurrection", until a hand of one of His disciples tapped him with a voice. "Master, carest not thou that we perish?".

And when he released the peace within him; the sea had peace, the wind had peace, the weather had peace and the disciples had peace.The peace of God is a powerful instrument for that negative situation that has left you thinking day and night.Recieve the Peace of God!

Declare it upon that situation.It is settled in Jesus Name...Amen

Lord of Hosts, our Captain, I pray that you rise us up as a mighty army united with one mind, one spirit, in one accord with strategies that we need to stand and press back the giants in the land.

We have been scattered and the enemy has planted many seeds of deception and many have been caught in snares in the occult where the enemy has had the legal right to invade the camp.

Set the captives free and rise us up strong under Your authority to once again be the people You called us to be.

Pour out Your spirit of repentance upon us.  Finish the work that You have begun in us.

Pour out Your great grace and perfect peace upon us.  Be merciful and restore us and forgive us for the abominations, our negligence, our iniquities, and all of our sins.

Wash us with the blood of the Lamb and make us pure.

Psalm 71 vs 21 says “Increase thou my greatness, and turn again and comfort me.”

The keywords in this text are “increase”, “greatness” and “comfort”.

To INCREASE means to:

Breakthrough/Force through. Breaking forth is coming out of the cocoon that is holding us in; out of the cage that is enclosing and restricting us.

Darkness does not need an invitation to come into your life; same way, if you do not have a higher power, the devil can send decrease into your life, but when God increases you, you’ll break and force through.

Everything, from the day you were conceived till date, that has been packaged together for your downfall, just as the Prince of Persia was removed, that yoke is broken in Jesus’ name!

Whatever peg is limiting you, you will break through it in Jesus’ name! God will deliver your breakthrough into your life!

Expansion. Everything keeping and limiting you from increasing on all sides is destroyed today in Jesus’ name! You will expand!

Multiplication. Addition is different multiplication. As from today, whatever you do with your hands will multiply in Jesus’ name!

Enlargement. To enlarge is to be fruitful. Before this year is over, God will make room for you, He will enlarge you in Jesus’ name!

When you increase, it means you are bigger in quantity, strength and number; it means you are waxing stronger. God created everything with the capacity to grow; therefore, we are not expected to be on the same spot – we must produce! Prov. 4: 18; Matt. 25: 27.

God is in the business of increasing His people – Psa. 35: 27; III John 2; John 10: 10b. He didn’t create us for us to be stagnant, He created us to multiply, increase and be in abundance; He doesn’t plan for us to be “few”. When God increases us, He steps us up; our past will not be more than the present. Our present year must be better than the last.

The first two letters in the word “GOD” spell “GO”; if you are related in any way to God, you will increase continually.

The first three letters in the word “SATAN” spell “SAT”. Everything that stagnates you is of the devil.

Increase does not happen without pressure; life doesn’t not give us what we wish or ask for, it gives us what we lay demand on! Jacob forcefully made the angel bless him; he held on to the angel, even after he sustained injury. Many falter and step down when they’ve sustained casualty along the way; but the only way to increase involves being persistent and forceful even if some sort of casualty will happen along the way – that way, nothing can stop our increase!

Anything holding you down, that yoke over your life, keeping you in one position is destroyed in Jesus’ name!

If you make up your mind that you are going to the other side, no Red Sea or River Jordan can stop you; even the storm could not stop Jesus and His disciples.

Every storm in your way of increase, I command it to be calm in Jesus’ name!

Whatever mountain standing between you and your increase, it has ears – speak to it what you want it to do, in the name of Jesus. If you shut your mouth, you will shut your destiny up. God commanded Joshua and his men to step into the River Jordan with their ark, and the overflowing river parted for them. Every large body of water standing in your way of increase, I command it to back up and part for you as you step in, in Jesus’ name!

Pharaoh and his army thought there was no way for the Israelites; they were behind and the Red Sea was ahead, but God was going to make a way for them. The rod in Moses’ hand was the WORD; the word of your mouth is enough to call on signs and wonders for your life! By yourself, you can command increase and breakthrough into your career, business, finance, marriage and other areas of your life. Your word is your rod!

Just like the Red Sea swallowed the Egyptians, the road God opened for you to go through freely will consume your enemies in Jesus’ name!

It is never too late for God to increase and help you fulfil your destiny. Moses did not step into the purpose of his life until he was 80 years old; he was born to be the deliverer of the Israelites from captivity. The first 80 years of his life were preparation for the rest of the last 40 years of his life, to lead the people.

For all you are going through, it might be God’s way of preparing you. Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible during his “formative” years; he spent those years listening and speaking with God. One would have thought he had missed his destiny, but with God it is never late! Your years of waiting are never wasted.

God changed Abraham’s name when he was 99 years old in Gen. 17, and his wife’s. In vs. 16 of that chapter, Abraham did not believe that God would still give him a son through Sarah; he just asked God to bless Ishmael; in chapter 18 vs. 12, Sarah too did not believe they were capable of bearing a child, due to their old age. They thought their child-bearing years had passed. But with God, nothing has passed!

In Heb. 11: 12, we read that God blessed them with Isaac, and made Abraham the father of many nations. From him came so many people like the stars in the sky and sands on the seashore! Someone considered as good as dead!

In whatever situation that people have said is dead and gone, God will surprise you in Jesus’ name!

If Abraham can be blessed with a son when he was 100 years old and be increased greatly, nothing is too late for you; God will increase your greatness!

GREATNESS is something unusually large in size and dimension; it is abundance, more than you are prepared for; bigness; vastness; hugeness. When God says He will make you great, expect something enormous.

God promised Abraham that He will make him as numerous as the sands at the seashore; at that point, Abraham and Sarah were without child. God promised one man alone; then God took that one man, fulfilled His promise to him, blessed and increased him (Isa. 51: 2), and made him the father of many nations. When God decides to make you great, nobody on the surface will be able to count your blessings, just as Abraham’s offspring became innumerable (Heb. 11: 12).

The God we serve is the One that can repeat Himself, if He has done it for one before, He can do it again for you! It does not matter how dead your “deadness” is, God can make something come out of you! He can make you great!

Every contrary prophecy spoken over your life, today they are nullified in Jesus’ name!

Every contrary voice speaking against your life, today, they are silenced in Jesus’ name!

Before Samson finally died, he made a difference; Moses at 80 years old started to fulfil his destiny and died at the age of 120; your age, height, complexion, educational qualification, manner of speech is no barrier when God decides to increase your greatness. God is not going to call you or make you great by what you are going or have gone through, but by what He is seeing and has planned for you!

COMFORT is good-feeling, cheerfulness, enjoyment. The opposite of comfort is sorrow, when God comforts you; He blesses you without adding sorrow.

Comfort also means pleasure, peacefulness, and a good well-being.

When increase joins with greatness and comfort, you become a wonder; all that happens around you will wow your friends and family.

This month, your destiny will not be aborted; nothing will cut your life short in Jesus’ name!

Sickness will not ravage your body in Jesus’ name!

Untimely death that kills people will not come near your household in Jesus’ name! Sorrow will not knock on your door.

You will build and you will live in it, no one will take your place in Jesus’ name!

The enemy thought he had you ambushed, cornered in on every side, but as you begin to look up.  You saw your help coming.  “It has arrived!”

The mission of the enemy to sabotage your good dreams will now come  upon his own head.  For the very weapons he was using on you will now have a boomerang effect.  He will fall upon his own sword!

The plans he had to destroy you, he will now reap his harvest, saith the Lord the Mighty One.  For I have arrived in this battle and who will be able to stand against me and my purposes, saith the Lord, the Mighty One?

I have spoken to you and caused you to hear My voice but now thine eye shall see me.  I shall cause thee to rise as my glory is seen upon thee I declare victory to thee this day, for I have spoken unto you saying, “I always cause you to triumph” through and by Me.  I fail not and not one of My words will fall to the ground!

Now go forth this day and ye shall reap your just rewards from me, have not I spoken that I come quickly and My reward is with Me?

Yes most assuredly I have rewards for the wicked ones as well, all those that have plotted against thee, they shall fall because of thee, saith the Lord God, the Mighty One the Almighty!  Only with thine eyes shall ye see and behold the rewards of the wicked!

You have heard Me by the hearing of thine ear now thine eyes will see me as I perform all that I have spoken unto thee.  For I will cause thine enemies to bow before thee and surely they shall know that I have loved thee, for they shall know this day that I alone uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

All that were incensed against thee shall be confounded and brought to shame, all those that sought thy hurt, they shall come to nothing, a thing of nought, for I the Lord, the Mighty One, the Almighty hath spoken it, and I will perform it saith the Lord!

Rejoice in thy portion My chosen ones, thy double has come!

Separation Unto The Lord

TEXT: “And I heard another voice from heaven saying “come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.”” Revelation 18:4 (NKJV)

Friends, it is essential that we begin to separate ourselves from every source that will hinder our receipt, and enjoyment, of all of which God has for us. And today’s reading reminds us of God’s desire for us to devote ourselves to, and for, Him – God is calling us out of the world so as to show the world the way.

As our month of consecration is winding out, I pray that we understand that if we are not separated for God’s purpose, then we will soon carry out the devil’s purpose, knowingly or not. You see the Greek word “hagiazo” means separated for a purpose. Remember Abraham? He could not receive God’s entire blessing, i.e. God’s purpose for blessing him, as long as Lot was still with him.

A rich and fulfilling life can only exist if we do not allow ourselves to be carried away by the thinking pattern of the world. We need to be seen as different to the world, not one of the pack.
That is the mark of the beast on the head and in the hand.

Be separated friends, this is what God asks of us.

LEARN and APPLY: The righteous must be separated from the unrighteous in their ways and speech.

Pray: Lord, help me to be distinct for you in my walk and work in the world, in Jesus’ name. Amen

Thieves that have stolen my divine deposits, return them now, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, lay Your hands of fire upon me and change my destiny.
I receive explosive breakthroughs, I reject weak breakthroughs, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, change my destiny to the best.

Begin to thank God.

In the name of Jesus, I stand to command my morning and declare it is a new day.  I take authority over my day in the Name of Jesus.  Every element of my day shall cooperate with divine purpose and destiny.

Today is the dawning of a new day.  My season of frustration and failures is over, and I walk in a season of success and prosperity.  Old things are passed away; all things are become new.

Today I press toward the mark of the high calling of God in almighty Jesus.  Anything or anyone assigned to undermine, frustrate, hinder, or hurt me; I command to be moved out of my sphere of influence in the Name of Jesus.

Lord, I command my day to fully cooperate with Your plan and purpose for it.  I greet today with great anticipation of the good things you have prepared for me.  I decree and declare that a new day is dawning for my ministry and job or business, for my finances, for my relationships, and for my health.

I download success, prosperity, health, wealth, vision, direction, ingenuity, creativity, spirituality, holiness, righteousness, peace, and resourcefulness, from Your Spirit into my day.

I have a fresh excitement, I have a fresh mind, and I have a fresh zeal.  I have a fresh anointing that is uncontaminated and uncompromised.  By this anointing, every yoke is broken off my life and is destroyed; every burden is lifted.  His yoke is easy and His burden light.  All-powerful God, place Your Anointing upon me.  The anointing that is on my life repels every individual with a diabolical assignment.  Let the anointing flow uncontaminated and unhindered upon my life.  The anointing that is on my life for this season, mission, mandate, and purpose attracts only those with divinely ordained assignments, in Jesus’s Name.

Cause the Apostolic and Prophetic anointing to converge, explode, and be manifested in my life with accuracy, authenticity, clarity, and elegance, in Jesus’s Mighty and pricelss Name, Amen.

My dear Lord Jesus I come to you now to be restored in you, renewed in you, to receive your life and your love, and all the grace and mercy I so desperately need this day.  I honor you as my Lord, and I surrender every aspect and dimension of my life to you.  I give you my spirit, soul and body; my heart, mind, and will. I cover myself with your blood — my spirit, soul, and body; my heart, mind and will.  I ask your Holy Spirit to restore me in you, renew me in you, and lead this time of prayer.  In all that I now pray, I stand in total agreement with your Spirit, and with all those praying for me by the spirit of God and by the Spirit of God alone.

Dearest God, holy and victorious Trinity, you alone are worthy of all my worship, my heart’s devotion, all my praise, all my trust and all the glory of my life.  I love you, I worship you, I give myself over to you in my heart’s search for life.  You alone are Life, and you have become my life.  I renounce all other gods, every idol, and I give to you God the place in my heart and in my life that you truly deserve.  This is all about you, and not about me.  You are the Hero of this story, and I belong to you.  I ask your forgiveness for my every sin.  Search me, know me and reveal to me where you are working in my life, and grant to me the grace of your healing, and deliverance, and a deep and true repentance.

Heavenly Father, thank you for loving me and choosing me before you made the world.  You are my true Father — my creator, redeemer, sustainer, and the true end of all things, including my life.  I love you; I trust you; I worship you.  I give myself over to you, Father, to be one with you as Jesus is one with you.  Thank you for proving your love for me by sending Jesus.  I receive him and all his life and all his work, which you ordained for me.  Thank you for including me in Christ, forgiving me my sins, granting me his righteousness, making me complete in him.  Thank you for making me alive with Christ, raising me with him, seating me with him at your right hand, establishing me in his authority, and anointing me with your love and your Spirit and your favor . I receive it all with thanks and give it total claim to my life — my spirit, soul, and body; my heart, mind and will.

Jesus, thank you for coming to ransom me with your own life.  I love you, worship you, trust you.  I give myself over to you, to be one with you in all things.  I receive all the work and triumph of your cross, death, blood and sacrifice for me, through which my every sin is atoned for, I am ransomed, delivered from the kingdom of darkness and transferred to your kingdom, my sin nature is removed, my heart circumcised unto God, and every claim being made against me is cancelled and disarmed.  I take my place now in your cross and death, dying with you to sin, to my flesh, to this world, to the evil one and his kingdom.  I take up the cross and crucify my flesh with all its pride, arrogance, unbelief, and idolatry [and anything else you are currently struggling with].  I put off the old man.  Apply to me all the work and triumph in your cross, death, blood and sacrifice; I receive it with thanks and give it total claim to my spirit, soul and body, my heart, mind and will.

Jesus, I also receive you as my Life, and I receive all the work and triumph in your resurrection, through which you have conquered sin, death, judgment and the evil one.  Death has no power over you, nor does any foul thing.  And I have been raised with you to a new life, to live your life  –  dead to sin and alive to God.  I take my place now in your resurrection and in your life, and I give my life to you to live your life.  I am saved by your life.  I reign in life through your life.  I receive your hope, love, faith, joy; your goodness, trueness, wisdom, power and strength.  Apply to me all the work and triumph in your resurrection;  I receive it with thanks and I give it total claim to my spirit, soul and body, my heart, mind and will.

Jesus, I also sincerely receive you as my authority, rule, and dominion, my everlasting victory against Satan and his kingdom, and my ability to bring your Kingdom at all times and in every way. I receive all the work and triumph in your ascension, through which Satan has been judged and cast down, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to you.  All authority in the heavens and on this earth has been given to you, Jesus, and you are worthy to receive all glory and honor, power and dominion, now and forever.  I take my place now in your authority and in your throne, through which I have been raised with you to the right hand of the Father and established in your authority.  I give myself to you, to reign with you always.  Apply to me all the work and triumph in your authority and your throne; I receive it with thanks and I give it total claim to my spirit, soul and body, my heart, mind and will.

I now bring the authority, rule and dominion of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the full work of Christ, over my life today; over my home, my household, my work, over all my kingdom and domain.  I bring the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ and the full work of Christ against every evil power coming against me  – against every foul spirit, every foul power and device.  [You might need to name them – what has been attacking you?]  I cut them off in the name of the Lord, I bind and banish them from me and from my kingdom now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.  I also bring the full work of Christ between me and every person, and I allow only the love of God and only the Spirit of God between us.

Holy Spirit, thank you for coming. I love you, I worship you, I trust you.  I receive all the work and triumph in Pentecost, through which you have come, you have clothed me with power from on high, sealed me in Christ, become my union with the Father and the Son, the Spirit of truth in me, the life of God in me, my counselor, comforter, strength, and guide.  I honor you as Lord, and I fully give to you every aspect and dimension of my spirit, soul and body, my heart, mind and will  –  to be filled with you, to walk in step with you in all things. Fill me afresh Holy Spirit. Restore my union with the Father and the Son.  Lead me into all truth, anoint me for all of my life and walk and calling, and lead me deeper into Jesus today.  I receive you with thanks, and I give you total claim to my life.

Heavenly Father, thank you for granting to me every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus.  I claim the riches in Christ Jesus over my life today.  I bring the blood of Christ once more over my spirit, soul, and body, over my heart, mind and will. I put on the full armor of God – the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel, helmet of salvation; I take up the shield of faith and sword of the Spirit, and I choose to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of your might, to pray at all times in the Spirit.

Jesus, thank you for your angels.  I summon them in the name of Jesus Christ and instruct them to destroy all that is raised against me, to establish your Kingdom over me, to guard me day and night.  I ask you to send forth your Spirit to raise up prayer and intercession for me.  I now call forth the kingdom of God throughout my home, my household, my kingdom and domain in the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving all glory and honor and thanks to him .
