Afflictions means the state of being in pain and its a situation every Christians pray against. Its one of the challenges that could easily fades away the faith and hope of a believer but Nahum 1 vs 9 remind us that 'Whatever they plot against the LORD he will bring to an end; trouble will not come a second time'.
As a true child of God, your body is a temple of God and because God reigns, no afflictions will survive in your life again.
