Good morning friends and family of God Honor Strength, welcome to the beginning of a new week, a week where God wants to answer prayers and fulfill dreams for each of us. I hope each of you had an amazing and blessed weekend, and were able to spend time with family and friends, and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I was sitting here earlier today and thinking back about all that has taken place the past few days. As we all know, on Friday a new President and Vice-President were sworn into office. President Trump and Vice-President Pence are now in charge of this once great nation and as they have been blessed by God and directed and guided by His hand, they will bring this country back to where it once was, where it should be, where it will be again, One Nation under God. During the ceremony and the days that have followed, there have been riots and protests and marches and celebrities who have shown their true colors, and yet, I still feel a sense of peace, a sense of calmness, a sense of everything is going to be alright again.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7
There will no doubt be troubled times ahead as the enemy realizes he is soon going to lose his grip on this nation and in time, this world. He will continue to divide the people with his false truths, his deceptive ways and his empty promises. The enemy does not want our new administration to succeed, because he knows then that God will be back where he belongs, in our country, in our states, in our cities, in our towns and in our schools. We the people will humble ourselves before our Father in Heaven so He may lift us up according to the plans he has for each of us. And we will see and we will hear and we will know the glory of God.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the Faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
1 Peter 5:8-9
Do not let your guard down in any area of your life. As soon as we get comfortable we tend to get complacent and that is all the opening the devil needs to attack. Take comfort in knowing that no matter when or where or how the enemy tries to attack, you do not stand alone. You have every other faithful believer standing right beside you defending your faith, your hopes and your beliefs. There is a movement taking place in this country as we speak and no longer do we as Christians need to remain silent, remain seated or remain behind closed doors. The enemy is scared because we are all part of the same family, a family of believers and any of the sufferings he brings upon anyone of us is shared by all of us and together we will defeat him.
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To Him be the power for ever and ever, Amen.
1 Peter 5:10-11
We each will face trials and tribulations, but what you need to remember is this, the enemy can do nothing to you or me without God's knowledge. Let me repeat that, the enemy cannot do anything to you or me, without God's approval. Nothing you are facing is a surprise to God. Nothing you will go through will catch God off guard. If the enemy comes against you, believe that God already knows you can defeat him, because of your faith, your hope and your belief in our Father in Heaven.
Not only will you prevail, not only will we prevail, but we will be restored, we will remain firm and we will remain steadfast in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. No longer will we sit back and let ourselves be silenced, no longer will we allow ourselves to be denied our rights, our beliefs, our faith.
My declaration to each of you, as Christians, is to stand with you to defend our faith, our families and our flag against the enemy and anyone who comes against us.
As I speak a blessing over each of you, always remember, I am here for you if you ever need to talk or get something off your chest or if you need prayer for yourselves, your family or your friends. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
Dear Father God, thank you for blessing us with this day and loving us as Your children. Watch over each and every one of us as we start each day, as we go through this week, keeping us in the palm of Your hand. Guide us in our daily lives, directing us on the path You have planned for us, bringing forth the dreams you have planted in each of our hearts. For we know who we are and whose we are, children of the most high God. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
"Keep your Faith strong, your Hope alive and your Prayers never ending."
God Bless
