When You Get In Trouble, God Does Not Send Someone For You… He Comes Himself!
Who was the fourth man in the fire? When the three Hebrew children were thrown into the fire, Nebuchadnezzar was astounded to see a fourth man in the fire. The fourth man in the fire was God himself!
The triumph of the three Hebrew children was that they walked out of the fire unharmed, rescued by the God who delivers. They were promoted higher than they had ever been promoted before. They became prime ministers in the most powerful government that had ever assembled. They were prisoners one day, and prime ministers of a worldwide government the next. Babylon became one nation under God because of Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego and Daniel.
Right now the church of Jesus Christ is in the fire. All that we love, all that we hold sacred, is under attack by the media…by the politically correct crowd…by the secular humanists…by the God haters in Hollywood…and by government leaders. Yes, we’re in the fire. But the good news is that the fourth man is on the way. He is not sending someone, He’s coming Himself, and He’s coming in the clouds with power and great glory. The trump of God shall sound and the dead in Christ shall rise to meet him in the air.
It is spiritually dark, but when it gets dark enough, the stars come out and shine for His glory. Let it get dark. Let the fire get hotter. It only means the fourth man is ever nearer. “Even so, come Lord Jesus” Revelation 22:20.
