A Pine Tree by Tammy Lang Jensen
The Lord showed me a hand this morning peeling the bark from a Pine tree. He said, “What happens to the tree if the bark is peeled away?”

When a tree has been damaged by removing a ring a bark, the tree might die depending on how completely it was removed. The reason for damage is the phloem layer of tissue just below the bark is responsible for carrying food produced in the leaves by photosynthesis to the roots of the tree.

And just as the Lord‘s word in you produces fruit. If the world strips it out of you day after day, what the Lord has been growing will surely die. You have been called to be the first fruits, the produce of His labor. Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain (Psalm 127:1). I am the vine; you are the branches. If you abide in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing (John 15:5). I am the way-maker, the vinedresser, away from me nothing lives. I am the protective bark that covers you.

I protect you from the wind, the storms and the words spoken against you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. And their righteousness is from me, says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). I create the fruit of the lips; peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him (Isaiah 57:19). The Lord promises peace and healing if we are doing things his way.

My ways are sweeter than honey, taste and see that I am good. You are the branch and I am the vine and I will perfect you in all your ways. How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth (Psalm 119:103). I will teach you to love unconditionally, and extend grace and mercy; just as it was extended to you. I will teach you to look with eyes of faith and to speak to those things that be not as though they are. I will teach you to believe in miracles and you will say like the father of the child. “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” And you will know all things are possible to those who believe.

And even if you were a tree bear naked without bark. In the twinkling of an eye, the Lord will cover you and restore all that was lost or stolen. Too long has the world taken from my children. I pace over them like a roaring lion. Protector of the universe, protector of my child. No evil will befall you. No evil will befall you, no plague will approach your tent (Psalm 91:10).

By this I know that you are pleased with me, because my enemy does not shout in triumph over me (Psalm 41:11). I am raising a mighty army to purge the land of darkness and they shall not be defeated....WARRIORS ARISE!!!!
