Laying on of hands is a biblical action done by Jesus in his ministry on earth. Jesus certainly laid His hands on many of those He healed. This shows there is an effective power in the hand of God.
Though we do not have a physical contact with God, his hands can still be laid on us. The hand of God is mighty and does wonders. We receive this direct contact with God when we believe in our heart by faith.
Undoubtedly, the laying on of hands means connecting the message with the messenger. It shows a sign and an act of contact. Laying on of hands has no power in itself. It is only used by God when it is done in agreement with his Word.
