For as [a man] thinks in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:6 NKJV, brackets added).
Did you know that the way you view yourself determines what you will become? Your present life is actually a reflection of how you thought about yourself in the past.
When you entertain thoughts of rejection and failure, allowing images of failure to dominate your thinking, you are setting yourself up for those very things to happen. The negative things that you think will come to pass.
If, on the other hand, you think in line with the Word of God and what God has to say about you, His perfect plan will come to pass in your life. It takes diligence to take control of your mind, especially when you have thought a certain way for many years. But you can do it.
The Bible says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:4-5 KJV).
As you spend time imagining yourself to be successful and prosperous, you will begin to act like a winner. And as you continue to see yourself as God sees you, regardless of your circumstances, success and prosperity will begin to manifest in your life.
Confession: I am who God says I am. I am a winner. I am successful in all that I set my hand to do. I prosper in every area of my life. I am able to stand strong in the grace of God through every test and trial that I may face. I cast down every imagined thing that exalts itself against the truth of God’s Word, and I declare victory in every situation and circumstance.
