I had a beautiful vision this morning. I was standing on the edge of a cliff in a beautiful emerald green dress.
You could see every star in the sky.
The Lord hovered just above me with a sword in his hand. He hurled it at me and it stuck in the ground just in front of me. I reached down and pulled it from the ground and was surprised at the weight of it in my hand.
The sword was a blaze with fire and light. The Lord said, “You must learn to be a queen, a warrior, and a friend of God.” You must learn to wield your sword and shield and make sure no one gets hurt. You must learn to shout like a warrior, love like your savior, and work like a horse. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few; pray for more workers. You must train your eye to discern danger, your heart to discern love, and your mouth to speak truth.
You must stand on the word of the Gospel. Don’t have me standing on you, because you won’t relent to the pressure of my hand. Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridal or they will not come to you (Psalm 32:9). Let me set you at liberty, with no fear of what you will do. Be steadfast and long-suffering, consistent in all your ways. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways, the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, tossed to and fro by the wind.
Choose this day whom you will serve and then don’t back down. As I stood on the cliff holding my sword the Lord descended from heaven and began to spar with me. He said,”Your redeemer lives!” But he said, I am not only your redeemer, Savior, lover of your soul, but I am also your dread champion, a warrior of the highest rank. I can train your hands for war, and your fingers for battle. And I can also teach you to be still and wait for the hand of the Lord. You will not have to fight this battle.
Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you (2 Chronicles 20:17). Pray for wisdom to know when to wait and went to fight. Don’t charge into battle without your marching orders. Your chief and Commander flung the stars into existence, to direct your footsteps is an easy thing. He will be your sure foundation, he will not allow the righteous to slip or fall.
On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).
Whether you turn to the left or the right, I will be there. Your ears will Hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it” (Isaiah 30:21). Follow the ancient path, and never fear the darkness again....
