The Temple of The Holy Spirit by Tammy Lang Jensen

This morning I saw a gym full of people working out on weights. 

The Father said, “So many spending hours on healthy bodies, but neglecting the spirit. While the body is important because it is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

If the body is strong, and the spirit is weak; the enemy will defeat you. His war is waged in body, mind, heart and soul. If the enemy can control your thought life, he can control you. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

The Lord and I then entered a room full of over-stuffed comfortable chairs, and a few people were sitting and reading their Bibles quietly. There was a sense of peace and calm about them. They seemed to be in no particular hurry, content to sit at the Master’s feet. The Lord said, The race does not always go to the fastest are the swiftest or even the strongest. You will need wisdom to defeat the enemy, and that is found in my word.

Do you think a general sends his troops into battle, without a blueprint and strategy. Surely the sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets (Amos 3:7). Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3). The Lord is saying, come to me and seek my direction, search out my wise counsel. If you get in the word, the word will get in you, and you will be victorious. The enemy of your soul does not fight fair, and he has had 2000 years to learn to defeat you. You owe it to yourself to be prepared. Submit yourselves, then, to God.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. Learn to raise your shield and wield your sword more effectively. And the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God will protect you. So decree and declare the word of God over your life today and watch the demons flee from you. You have redeemed me Lord, and ransom me from the enemy.

You are my strong tower, my castle of safety. Your walls are impenetrable, and your blood unbreakable. I am covered in the blood of Jesus, therefore I am forgiven....
