We each are given a choice, God's will or our own will. God could have created us to only know to follow him, but he wanted us to be able to choose to follow him, to want to follow him.

Just as we have the choice to believe or not to believe, we have the choice to live righteously or live by the flesh. You have the choice to be cursed or to receive blessings. You make that decision, not your family, not your friends, not your teachers, not the government; you do.
