The Banqueting Table by Tammy Lang Jensen
I was taken to a vision this morning, and I was at the banqueting table with the Lord. He had his hand on a basket with a cloth over the top.

As I pulled the cloth back and peered in, I saw an abundance of bread, fruit and cheese. I then heard the Lord say, Those who dine with me will have an abundance of health, peace, love, prosperity and all that is needed to live a full life.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). Then suddenly I was back at the banqueting table again. This time as I pulled the cloth back on the basket, it was full of snakes. The Lord said, Many are sitting at the enemy’s table feasting on all manner of vile and vulgar things. It is important to know what table you are eating from. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning.

The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devils work (1 John 3:8). A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of (Luke 6:45). I told Jesus, I was very uncomfortable with what I had seen in the basket. He said, “Keep your eyes on Me!” As I peered into his face, suddenly I was back at the banqueting table with him, with a basket full of all the fruits of the Spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23). Keep your heart open, keep your eyes on Jesus, and eat from the good of the land. The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season. And to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none (Deuteronomy 28:12). Notice it says, He will send rain in season. A blessing is not a blessing, if it is out of season. If it finds you unprepared, it will become a burden and crush you.

Here is to the Lord knowing exactly what you need, when you need it, and how to get it to you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will give you the desires of your heart. The Lord has you in the palm of his hand, he will not forsake you. Trust that he is working all things out in their due season. I set before you life and death, choose life that you might live....
