Deuteronomy 8:18 says, “Remember the Lord your God; for it is He Who
gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which
he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day” (Amplified Bible).
God is not against riches, wealth and success. He want us to be rich,
wealthy, and successful. In the scripture above God said He gives us the
power to get wealth. He did not say we should not work for money but he
thus encourages us to work for there is an assurance that He will
indeed strengthen us and grant unto us the power to make wealth. Our
hand must be busy doing some type of work that produces income.
Lace off the shoe of laziness and embrace God's strength which is the ability to get wealth in order to fulfill God's covenant.
