The biblical mother Sarah was the wife of Abraham and the mother of
Isaac. Her attribute will not be made complete if we do not address her
as the mother of all nation.
Sarah's life was thrown in the dark because she was barren. We are in a
society where women's worth are measured up by their fertility and
productivity, Sarah couldn't conceived and give birth. In order to
hasten up her desire for a son, she offered her slave Hagar to her
husband Abraham.
Have we ever wonder why Sarah would take such a costly decision? Have we
also wonder why Sarah laughed to herself after receiving the promise
from God? What prompted Sarah's action was doubt and unbelief.
Whisper this prayer along with me - I believe dear Lord, help thou my unbelief.
Sarah's doubt and unbelief was proved wrong by the fulfilment of God's promise in her life.
Be blessed as you listen!
