Good morning friends and family of God Honor Strength, welcome to the beginning of a new week, a week where God is waiting to hear from you, to listen to you, to answer you. I hope each of you had an amazing and blessed weekend, and were able to spend time with family and friends, and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
This past week, there were so many people affected by one of the largest hurricanes ever recorded to make landfall on the Atlantic coast. Millions suffered through winds and rains, catastrophic flooding, loss of power and much more I am sure, with the death toll continuing to rise. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected and hope and pray that they will continue to recover from this devastating storm.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
It is not everyday that we face a hurricane or any type of catastrophic storm, but we do each face our own difficulties, and at times, they may seem as large as a storm. They tend to determine how we act, how we feel, how we treat others, how we treat ourselves. None of us are strong enough to take on all the challenges we face in our lives, on our own. We need to have God's strength backing us up. He is the everlasting, never ending power that gives us strength to overcome any situation, any problem, any adversity, no matter its size. Where we are weak, He is strong.
Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.
Matthew 10:27
We will each face difficulties in our lives, some more than others, and we may not be able to see a way through it, or maybe asking ourselves, how am I going to overcome this problem, this situation, this storm. I am here to tell you as a living witness, that by keeping God first and foremost in your life, you are not facing it alone. You have the most powerful force in the universe reaching out with His right hand to walk you through any problem, any difficulty, any storm. Every time you feel like you are overwhelmed or don't have the answers or cannot see a way through, look to your Father in Heaven and he will guide you, he will give you the answers, he will save you. Where we are weak, He is strong.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1
God is our strength, he is my strength, he is your strength. Place all your cares, all your worries, all your doubts and fears in God, and He will deliver you. There is no problem, no difficulty, no trouble that has to weigh you down, that has to cause you worry or heartache. It may not always be an easy thing to do, but we all have to put our trust in God. He is the one who gives us the strength we need to overcome, to survive, to live the life He has planned for us. To reach the dreams He has placed in out hearts. He will straighten every crooked path and guide your steps when you do not see a way. Where we are weak, He is strong.
As I speak a blessing over each of you this morning, always remember, I am here for you if you ever need to talk or get something off your chest or if you need prayer for yourselves, your family or your friends. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
Dear Father God, thank you for blessing us with this day and loving us as Your children. Watch over each and every one of us as we start each day, as we go through this week, keeping us in the palm of Your hand. Guide us in our daily lives, directing us on the path You have planned for us, bringing forth the dreams you have planted in each of our hearts. For we know who we are and whose we are, children of the most high God. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
"Keep your Faith strong, your Hope alive and your Prayers never ending."
God Bless
