He wanted to insure there would always be the full measure of joy in their hearts and in ours no matter what we have endured or have yet to endure. We have to remember that happiness and joy are not the same thing.
Material items, money, sin may bring us happiness, but true joy does not come from this world, it comes from knowing and believing and accepting and having a one on one personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
