There is no one on this earth that is better than another in God's eyes. Yes there are those who are in positions of authority and must be respected, but none the less they are not greater than I, just as I am not greater than you nor you greater than anyone else.
The day will come that each of us will stand before God and be judged. As believers we will be judged on the good works we have done; as non-believers, they will be judged on the good works they did not do.
