The Beginning of Deliverance by Pastor Mark Jensen

On this day over 2000 years ago, after being betrayed, lied about, beaten and tortured, our Lord and Savior hung on the cross, a crown of thorns impaled upon his head. He looks to the heavens and cries out to his Father.

As he takes one last breath he gives up his spirit and Jesus Christ is dead. As horrific as this was, as much as he suffered, this was the beginning of deliverance for God's people. This was the day that forgiveness and salvation was poured out across the nations.

Simply put, Jesus Christ, the perfect one, the sacrificial substitute, had to die so you could live. How are you living?
