Feathers are all around for those with faith to believe and receive. Like little breadcrumbs, leading you on your way. The Lord is my light on a dark path.
He is my glimmer of hope, when all hope is gone. For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does (Psalm 33:4). When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” (John 5:6). I hear Jesus calling, do you want to be well, do you want to be free?
The grave could not hold him, he has the keys to death, hell, and the grave. And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; Yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live (Ezekiel 16:6). Are you laying there wasting away in sickness, sorrow and debt. I hear the Lord saying, “Get up, what is it that you have need of?” He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).
It might only be Friday, but I declare today is Resurrection Sunday for you. You are coming up and out of the grave. The things that have held you bound, will bind you no more. The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped in strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go” (John 11:44). Lazarus, Lazarus, come out from the grave and wash the stink of the world off of you. And you hath he quicken, who were dead in trespasses and sin (Ephesians 2:1).
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all (Isaiah 53:6). Arise, shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord rises upon you (Isaiah 60:1). Leap like a calf let out to pasture. Jesus paid it all, so you wouldn’t have to. You have been ransomed from the enemy, bathed in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. So I ask you again, why does thou lay there in a pool of lies and deceit of the enemy. Bound up by smoke and mirrors, deception has no tangible grip.
Does it have fingers so to grasp you, or have you become a prisoner of your own mind? For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). There is no fear in love; but perfect love cast out all fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love (1 John 4:18). Kick the tormentor of your soul to the curb. When his attacks seem relentless, just remember you serve an Almighty, all powerful God. With everlasting love I will have compassion on you, says the Lord, your redeemer (Isaiah 54:8).
Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:39). I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you (Jeremiah 31:3). Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age (Matthew 28:20). So in case you still don’t get it: I love you forever! Period, The end....
