I had a vision this morning, I handed Jesus my heart. It was sticky and as He held it there was a black sticky gook dripping from it. There was a beautiful gold basin in front of him. He began to wash my heart in the water.
Once he was done, he placed a beautiful glass case around it. Then as he held it, there were flames coming from it. He said the flames represent love, passion and his presence. He said if I would kindle the flame of his love, the fire would never go out. He reminded me that they were purifying flames, as long as they burned brightly no residue of the world would take root. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness (Colossians 2:7). Guard your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life (Proverbs 4:23)....
Suddenly, I was walking down the sidewalk. There were people on both sides, and as I moved through the crowd the Lord allowed me to see each person‘s heart condition. Some were bitter and cold, some had gapping bleeding wounds, some giant stone walls around them, while others were contaminated by the world....
It was then I heard the voice,”Many of my people have become jaded, and indifferent to the suffering around them. So hurt and discouraged, they are unable to be compassionate and empathetic. What is your heart condition today, are you kind enough and gentle enough. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (Proverbs 15:1)....
Is the world pushing you down, or is faith lifting you up. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Just believe God today, and that he works all things together for the good of those who trust and believe in Him....
