I love how he always gives practical examples, for instance, I kept hearing expedient and expeditious. When I looked them up, expedient comes with an inherit connotation that things were achieved quickly but immorally. However, expeditious simply means quick or prompt....
So certainly we would want an expeditious week with the Lord. But we would not want expedient, because we would never want to take shortcuts or be unethical with the things of the Lord. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes (Psalm 37)....
Many of God’s children have been waiting on recompense and restoration in certain areas of their lives. I don’t know who this word is for, but there is going to be a seven day turnaround. The Lord is sending angelic assistance in response to your prayers. You will see a week of breakthrough after breakthrough. Things will be restored in a way that you will know it is God. He is the God of the breakthrough....
He is the God of recompense....
What you thought was dead and gone will be revived. Hold on, because there is a river of restoration coming your way. Receive your expeditious week, and don’t look back....
Whom the Son sets free, is free indeed..
