Have You Ever Wondered Why The Jewish People Are So Blessed?
The Jewish people have employed the principle of the blessing from that day until this. On the Sabbath, Jewish fathers and mothers bless their children in the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. When those children become 13, at something called a bar mitzvah for boys or a bat mitzvah for girls, the parents put their hands on them before the congregation and bless them in the name of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. What are they saying and why are they doing it? They are literally shaping the destiny of those children. They are molding what they want those children to be in their future years.
Why is it that the majority of Pulitzer Prize winners are Jewish people? Why are so many Jewish people successful in finance and commerce? May I suggest to you that it is found in the supernatural power of the blessing: the fathers bless their children and those children go right out and prosper because of the impartation of the blessing.
On the other hand, the Gentiles across the street are telling their kids, “You’re stupid, you’ll never amount to anything, and you can’t get anything right.” On the other side of the street, the Goldbergs are telling their children, “Go out and conquer the world,” and they’re doing it. Now which do you want? Do you want to impart the blessing of God to your children, or do you want to poison their future by your words?
