Once A Blessing Is Spoken Into Existence, It Cannot Be Broken By Man. It Can Be Stopped By God Because Of Disobedience, But Not By Man!
When Isaac’s sight was failing him, Jacob approached him with his arms covered with lambskin, to deceive his father to get the blessing that should have gone to his older brother Esau. Jacob seduced his father into giving him the blessing, and then left with it. No sooner had he left the tent than Esau came in and said, “Father, bless me.” And Isaac said, “Who was it that I just blessed?” Esau realized his brother had deceived his father and he begged for a blessing. But Isaac said, “I have blessed Jacob and he will be blessed.” The message is: I cannot rescind the blessing. Once it has been given, I cannot take it back.
Parents, when you speak, you begin to shape the destiny of your children. When Jacob was about to die, he gathered his 12 sons around his bed. And he spoke into each of their lives a blessing. If you will follow the lives of those sons through scripture, every one of those sons lived out exactly what their father said.
Jesus told his disciples they were the light of the world and the salt of the earth. At that point in time, it was not true. They were filled with moral imperfection, still doubting who he was. But they did become what He had spoken over them.
The point is that they rose to the level of the prophecy. They literally became what he said because he shaped their destiny with the power of the blessing!
