One Nation Under God by Pastor Mark Jensen
Good morning friends and family of God Honor Strength, welcome to the beginning of a new week, a week that God has already planned for you. I hope each of you had an amazing and blessed Labor Day weekend, and were able to spend time with family and friends, and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As we celebrate this Labor Day with a long weekend, barbecues, get together with family and friends, let's enjoy this extra day off from work, let's enjoy this time with family and friends, but let us not forget that we as a nation, we as a society are in trouble. It is nice to think that everything is always going to be the same. Same job to go to, same grocery store to shop at, same friends to hang out with; but sadly that is not the case. Everything changes, sometimes slowly, other times more quickly. It is the slow changes that we tend not to pay attention to, or not notice, until it is too late.

It used to be okay to say "God Bless You" when someone sneezed, but then "someone" was offended. It is used to be okay to say "Merry Christmas", but then "someone" was offended. It used to be allowed and encouraged to say the Pledge of Allegiance at school every morning, but that changed because "someone" was offended. There are now multiple cities who have the words "In God We Trust" on their patrol cars, fire trucks and other vehicles, and now there are lawsuits against them because " someone" was offended.

Well let me make this perfectly clear, as a Christian and as a Veteran and as an American, I Am Offended.

Slowly but surely, our President, our Government, our local leaders, the people we voted into office, have taken away what this country was built on, for the sake of not wanting to offend "someone". What they have forgotten or should I be so bold as to say, what they don't care about, is the millions of Christians they are now offending.

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
2 Peter 1:3

We as a nation have fallen from God's grace, we as a society are now denying everything He has given us and wants to give us. We as a country have removed God from what He created. Look at all the evil that is taking place. Watch the news, read the papers, listen to the reports. Evil is taking over our country, and our leaders are allowing it. When terrible things happen, everyone wants to know why it happened, some will even say how could God let this happen. The simple truth is, today's society kicked God out. How can he help, how can he stop the evil, if people don't want Him here. The trouble then lies in the fact that far too many people do not care or do not understand. But we, as Christians do care, we do understand, we know the truth. We know that when Christ returns we have already been saved. And we need to bring this country back to "One Nation Under God".

Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only son.
John 3:18

I am not here to judge anyone, nor should anyone else, that is for God to do as they face him on judgement day. We need to love everyone as we love ourselves and as we love God and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. But at the same time, we should not stand idly by and let our beliefs be trampled on for the sake of not offending "someone". As Christians we need to rise up and let our voices be heard. We need to stand up, put on our big boy or big girl pants and save this nation of ours. Reach out and share God's word to everyone who will listen and even if only one person listens that is one more saved. We need to bring God back into this country and kick the enemy out.

As I speak a blessing over each of you this morning, always remember, I am here for you if you ever need to talk or get something off your chest or if you need prayer for yourselves, your family or your friends. Please do not hesitate to contact me.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

Dear Father God, thank you for blessing us with this day and loving us as Your children. Watch over each and every one of us as we start each day, as we go through this week, keeping us in the palm of Your hand. Guide us in our daily lives, directing us on the path You have planned for us, bringing forth the dreams you have planted in each of our hearts. For we know who we are and whose we are, children of the most high God. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

"Keep your Faith strong, your Hope alive and your Prayers never ending."
God Bless
Pastor Mark
