Good morning friends and family of God Honor Strength. The beginning of a new week is upon us. A new week to experience all of God's glory and to share in his gift to each of us. It is my hope and prayer that each of you had an amazing and blessed weekend, and were able to spend some time with those that you love, including our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We all lead very busy, hectic, sometimes chaotic lives, where we find ourselves with barely enough time to even catch our breath and before we are even aware of it, the day is gone. Unfortunately, that is the world we live in today, everything needs to be done as quickly as possible, no time to slow down, no time to enjoy anything, we seem to love in a "microwave" world. That is society today and it seems to dictate the way we live our lives and in doing so the ever real fear of becoming lost, becomes reality. Not so much in the sense of not knowing where we are, but more so not being where God wants us to be, where he has planned for us to be. Each of us were created by God, but we become lost in this world and we tend to forget or never realize all the God has planned for us. This is when we need to mentally, emotionally and spiritually, seek out our Father in Heaven.
But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deuteronomy 4:29
I have mentioned this before I am sure, probably a few times, but it is just as important today as it was yesterday and as it will be tomorrow. We tend to get so caught up in our every day lives, caught up in what is going on in this world, what is going on in this country, we forget that ultimately, God is in control of everything. He is the Alpha and the Omega, He is the beginning and the end, He is the creator of all things and yes, that includes you. We need to continue to keep our focus on Him, we need to always look to Him, no matter what is happening around us. We all know this world and even our own country is falling into the hands of the enemy. For some they don't even see it or don't even care because they are blinded by their own worldly desires. But that does not mean you can't or I can't, that we can't continue to worship our God, praise our God, honor our God for all he has done for us and all that he will do for us. There is nothing that He will not do for you or for me because of his unconditional love for each of us.
For what you have done I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people. And I will hope in your name, for your name is good.
Psalm 52:9
My challenge to each and every one of you, as well as to myself, is to take time each and every morning and throughout the day, to thank God for this day and every day forward; to thank God for all that you have, all that he has given you, and to thank God for all he has planned for you and all that he will deliver to you.
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
2 Peter 1:3
As we prepare to celebrate Easter this coming weekend, let us enjoy the colored eggs, the jelly beans, the chocolate bunnies, but let us never forget and remember to share with all that we meet the meaning of this day. Let us celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Let us thank our Father in Heaven for the gift of salvation by the sacrificing of his one and only begotten son. Let us live our lives the way God intended, the way he planned, no matter the world around us. Let us thank God for who we are and whose we are.
As I speak a blessing over each of you this morning, always remember, I am here for you if you ever need to talk or get something off your chest or if you need prayer for yourselves, your family or your friends. Please do not hesitate to send me a message.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
Dear Father God, thank you for blessing us with this day and loving us as Your children. Watch over each and every one of us as we start each day, as we go through this week, keeping us in the palm of Your hand. Guide us in our daily lives, directing us on the path You have planned for us, bringing forth the dreams you have planted in each of our hearts. For we know who we are and whose we are, children of the most high God. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
"Keep your Faith strong, your Hope alive and your Prayers never ending."
God Bless
