Do You Like Yourself? by Joyce Meyer
Let him search for peace…and seek it eagerly. [Do not merely desire peaceful relations with God, with your fellowmen, and with yourself, but pursue, go after them!]
—1 Peter 3:11

Have you ever thought about your relationship with yourself? For years, it never occurred to me that I had a relationship with myself. In fact, I never thoug

ht about it until God began to teach me how to improve it. Maybe the idea that you have a relationship with yourself has never entered your mind, either. But the truth is, you spend more time with yourself than with anyone else! So getting along well with yourself is vital to your well-being.

Do you like yourself? Many people don't. Self-rejection and even self-hatred contribute to many of the struggles we have in life. Think about it: Rejecting or holding hatred toward others causes all kinds of problems in relationships with them, so why wouldn't rejecting or hating or disliking yourself cause the same kind of problems in your relationship with yourself?

Today's scripture urges us to pursue and go after peaceful relations with God, others, and ourselves. I encourage you to embrace and accept yourself because God created you just the way He wants you to be and made every unique thing about you. He loves you tremendously, so let that truth empower you to not only like yourself, but also to love yourself. As you grow in this way, you'll notice that some of your problems will decrease and eventually go away.

Love Yourself Today: Make a list of your good qualities. Take a moment to think about how these positive attributes are a blessing to you and to others. Thank God for making so many good things about you!

Satan’s Plan For Unbelievers by John Hagee
The seed is the Word of God.  Those by the wayside are those that hear; then cometh the devil and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

Satan’s Plan For Unbelievers Is To Snatch The Gospel Seed Away Before It Can Take Root.
Satan’s objective is to damn the soul of every man on earth.  The Bible says, “He that believeth hath life and he that believeth not is damned already.”

When the gospel seed is sown in the church by the pastor, shared on the streets, or in the home, Satan does everything within his power to snatch the seed of the Word away before it can take root in the heart.

He purposes to blind the mind of the unbeliever from the gospel.  Don’t ever forget it…Satan is into mind control.  Paul wrote, “But if the gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost.  In whom the god of this world Satan has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto us.”

Stay Above Strife by Joel Osteen
"Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out."
(Proverbs 17:14, NIV)

TODAY'S WORD:
Too often, people fall into the trap of strife. Someone says something that rubs you the wrong way, and before you know it, there is tension, quarreling and division. The Bible tells us that strife opens the door to “every evil work.” It’s the enemy’s greatest trap to keep people from living in victory. But you don’t have to fall into the trap of strife, you can rise above it. Like today’s verse says, you can simply drop the matter before it turns into something bigger than it needs to be. You don’t have to sink down to somebody’s level and argue with them and try to prove that you’re right. You weren’t put on this earth to correct everybody around you.

If you are going to be all that God’s called you to be, you have to learn to stay above strife. Instead of letting disagreements pull your relationships apart, look for common ground to draw you closer to the people in your life. Look for peace. Look for ways to be a blessing. Stay above strife so you can enjoy your relationships and experience the blessing He has for you!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Heavenly Father, I choose to stay above strife. I choose to honor You by seeking peace in my relationships. Empower me to walk in love and be an example of Your light everywhere I go in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Mighty in Spirit Dr. Charles Stanley
Ephesians 3:14-16

Everyone wants to be healthy in mind, body, and spirit. To become physically fit, we need to exercise our muscles vigorously and regularly. If our goal is to be stable in soul (our thoughts, will, and emotions), then we must apply our minds to learning and train ourselves to be self-controlled. However, to become mighty in spirit requires something more than self-effort.

You see, none of us were born with a spiritual connection to God. Because of Adam and Eve’s rebellion, we were all dead in our sins and separated from the Lord (Eph. 2:1). No amount of personal effort can bring an individual to life spiritually. Although we are unable to change this condition for ourselves, nothing is impossible for God (Matt. 19:26). By accepting Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross as payment for our sins, we are forgiven, reconciled to God, and made alive in our spirit (Eph. 2:5). This is the beginning step of the Christian life.

Once we are born again, the indwelling Holy Spirit teaches us how to view life as Jesus did, embrace His values and priorities, and follow His example. The more we yield to the Spirit’s control, the sooner we’ll be transformed into Christ’s image, equipped to carry out the Lord’s will, and strengthened in our inner spirit to serve Him.

God desires followers who will dedicate themselves to His plan and serve as ambassadors for Christ to a lost and hurting world. He doesn’t expect that we will train ourselves for this task—He has sent His Holy Spirit to prepare us for the work ahead. Have you answered His call to service?

Sickness And Disease is Part Of The Curse by Jerry Savelle
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13).

Sickness and disease were never part of God’s plan for mankind. When He created the garden and placed Adam in it, life was perfect just as God planned it to be; there was no sickness or disease. But because Adam sinned and opened the door to the devil, mankind was subjugated to all that was part of the curse.

Until, that is, Jesus broke the power of the curse when He died on the Cross and rose again, destroying all the power of the devil. This is good news, because sickness and disease no longer have a right to be in your body.

Just as sickness and disease had no right to come on Jesus’ physical body when He walked on the earth, so it has no right to come on your body today. However, the devil will attempt to bring the curse upon your life and he will push you as far as you will allow him to do. He will stay as long as you let him.

The devil will not leave you voluntarily—you must evict him from you life! It will be necessary that you tenaciously voice your rights as a child of God, enforce God’s Word against him, and use your faith and the authority Jesus has given you to cast the devil out. Then, speak to that sickness and disease and command it in the name of Jesus to leave.

Jesus paid the price for you to live in freedom from sickness and disease. So stand firm, speak God’s Word, and enjoy the fullness of your redemption from the curse.

Confession: Because Jesus Christ has redeemed me from the curse, I have been set free from all sickness and disease. I am full of the life and power of God.

Hope That Does Not Disappoint by Joseph Prince
Romans 5:5
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Today, we express hope as if we can’t be sure what will really happen. We say, “I hope I will win that prize. I hope it won’t rain tomorrow. I hope everything works out well.”

But “hope” in the Bible is a confident and positive expectation of good. God wants you to have a confident expectation of good because as His child, He favors you. Because Christ is in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27), you can expect the glory of God to shine into every area of your life, including your family, job, ministry, health and finances!

God’s Word says, “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” You may have experienced disappointed hopes, but there is a hope that does not disappoint when you are conscious of how much God loves you. It is a hope that springs from the heart of God, who loves you very much.

It is interesting that the first mention of the Holy Spirit in the book of Romans is tied up with the love of God. The book of Romans is considered foundational for Christians. Could it be that the first thing the Holy Spirit wants to do is to establish in our hearts that God loves us? Many people think that the Holy Spirit has come to teach us about power. But the truth is that the Holy Spirit has come not to reveal the love for power, but the power of love!

My friend, you may have just lost your job. But if you can say, “Jesus loves me this I know,” you can also say, “I believe that I will get a better job tomorrow.” Your girlfriend may have just left you for your best friend. But because you can say, “Jesus loves me this I know,” you can also say, “I’ll meet a better girl.”

When you believe that God loves you, you will have a positive expectation of good. You will have a hope that does not disappoint. So be careful what you hope for because you are bound to get it!

Thought For The Day
Being conscious of how much God loves you gives you a hope that does not disappoint.

The Father of Lights by Deborah Waldron Fry
I saw in the Spirit, many doors being flung wide open by angels. Not just one door at a time, but many, all at once.

" Beloved. As you have waited in total surrender to Me, I have been working on your behalf. I know it has not been easy, My Child. In surrender comes wisdom and understanding. As you cast all your cares upon Me, I open doors that no man can shut and shut doors no man can open. Everything you need, I have given to you freely through My Son. Fear not. Though there may have been counterfeit doors that you have entered by mistake.

I shall lead you by the hand out of those places and bring you back on course. I shall close those doors and they will not open again. My Grace is sufficient for you, Dear One. I am the Door. All things good come down from the Father of Lights. There is no shadow of turning in Me. See now, what I shall do as you place your total trust in Me. Those doors which just would not open for you shall suddenly fling wide. Finances, healings, reconciliations, joy, and peace of mind shall flow to you through these open doors. Not from your effort, Dear One, but by My Spirit. When I lift up My Voice and cry, "OPEN", My Mighty Ones hearken with joy and fling wide the gates. It is a new season, My Love.

The one you have been waiting and praying for. Lift up your heads, O ye gates! And be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors! For the King of Glory has come in!"

...Psalm 24:7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates! And be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors! And the King of Glory shall come in.

...1 Corinthians 18:9because a great door for effective work has opened to me, even though many oppose me.

...Acts 5:19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth
...Revelation 3:7 And to the angel in Philadelphia write: These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, He Who has the key of David, Who opens and no one shall shut, Who shuts and no one shall open.

A Royal Diadem by Tammy Lang Jensen
In the midnight hour, I will be there. In the hard place, I will be there. Do you doubt my ability to save you (Psalm 50:15). Doubt is from the enemy, faith is from God. Above all, take up your shield of faith, and quench all the fiery darts of the enemy (Ephesians 6:16). Sometimes the best defense, is a good offense.

Offense defined is players possessing or controlling the ball, a pattern or style of scoring attack, the players or team unit responsible for attacking or scoring in a game. Do you have the enemy on the run today. Are you actively defending what is yours? Family, faith, God and country. Is your prayer life effective, are you cutting off the head of the serpent. Is the word of God active and powerful in your hand. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).

Unite my mighty warriors, not one of you is an island unto himself. There is not one of my children that holds all the pieces to the puzzle. Victory will come in your unity (Ephesians 4:11-13), picking one another up from defeat. For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into ruin (Proverbs 24:16). My end time army will come together, hand chosen by Almighty God. Flowing together in perfect unity, possessing the harmony of heaven.

Come dance with Me on streets of gold, you are a royal diadem in my hand (Isaiah 62:3). You are my crown jewel, a glitter with your Royal fate. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light (1 Peter 2:9)....

God is always looking for a people who will bend to His laws and give Him full control. God will use a vessel who truly trusts Him and are totally defendent on Him. It is in this particular heart that God puts His testimony of Christ’s miracles and power. We are called out to be a testimony to all nations that Jesus Christ is more than Enough!!

Affirmation Activates The Power Of The Word by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5-6).

There’re two different aspects of salvation: the legal and the vital aspects. The vital aspect of salvation is activated by your confession; it only works when you say it; while the legal aspect requires acknowledgement.

In Romans 10:9, we see the confession or affirmation principle as the very basis for salvation. It says, “…if thou shalt confess (declare, profess, announce, affirm) with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved....” Salvation only becomes real when you make the confession of the lordship of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 12:37, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” When you confess, affirm or proclaim the lordship of Jesus Christ, you’re translated from the domain or kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son (Colossians 1:13).

Affirmation of the Word is an important principle in the Kingdom of God. God has spoken His Word so that we can take that Word and affirm it boldly. That’s our faith-response to the Word. He said whatever He said that we might respond. Your confession or affirmation is that response, and it activates the power of God’s Word in your life.

PRAYER Precious Father, I thank you for the gift of your Word, and the blessings that I experience for affirming your Word in consent. I’m flourishing in every area of my life, even as I grow in grace and in the knowledge of the truth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Open Heavens: Salvation Comes First by Pastor E. A. Adeboye
Memorise:
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1st Peter 2:24

Read: 1st Peter 2:21-25 (KJV)
2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Bible in one year:
1st Samuel 8-9,
Lamentation 3:7-36,

Hymn:
Sing hymn 11

Message:
Just as the repercussions of sin can affect every facet of life, so also can salvation become the platform of recovery for every area of life that has been devastated by sin. When a sinner comes in contact with the Lamb of God and His blood, his or her sins are washed away, and all the devastating effects of sin can be reversed in one day. Take for instance the impotent man in John 5:2-14, who was sick for 38 years. Immediately he came in contact with Jesus, he was healed. From that moment, he stopped failing, hope came to his hopelessness, he was able to fellowship with people in church, peace came to his life and joy returned to his heart. All these happened in one day.

When you give your life to Jesus and He saves your soul, peace and joy will suddenly flood your heart. From that very moment, you have access to all the precious promises of God. You can claim them and they will become reality in your life.

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
1st Peter 2:24

God’s process for healing is revealed in the above scripture. First is the transfer of your sins to the crucified body of Jesus Christ by faith, and thereafter comes healing. Many people want God to heal them but they do not want God to first roll away their sins. It doesn’t work that way! Any prophet, man of God or pastor who promises to heal you without the experience of salvation from sin must be avoided like a plague

Why? It is because instead of a miracle from God, you might be getting magic from Satan, and you can be certain that Satan is a very wicked taskmaster. Moreover, quite a number of sicknesses and diseases are caused by sin. The moment you settle the issue of sin at the cross of Jesus Christ, healing will then be released. Are you sick and still wallowing in sin? Give your life to Jesus now! Renounce every link with the devil, break every covenant with demons and commit your life to Christ. Ask God to forgive you for your life of sin and promise never to return to that life. Ask Him to come into your heart as Lord and Saviour today. If you have truly done these from your heart, I command every sickness or disease hibernating inside your body to be uprooted now in Jesus’ Name!

Action Point
Use every opportunity to pray for the healing of the sick, but first lead them to Christ

Later Is Here! by Gloria Copeland
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household?

Matthew 24:45

The Word tells us that God shows Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are "perfect" toward Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). That word perfect doesn't mean that we have to do everything just right and live without making a mistake. Thank God, we don't have to do that. It means "devoted"—a heart consecrated, dedicated, loyal and faithful to God.

The mistakes we make will not stop God from working in our lives. Only our lack of faithfulness can do that.

Who is faithful? The one who spends his time doing what God has called him to do. Or as Jesus put it, the one who takes up his cross and follows Him. The one who denies his fleshly desires and spends his life on the things God desires him to do.

Maybe God has been urging you to spend more time in His Word and in prayer or dealing with you about ministering more to the people around you. He may be calling you to pray for the sick or to teach the Word. But you're busy, so you glide on with good intentions and tell God you'll do it later. Well, later is here!

Decide today that you are going to be the faithful and wise servant. Find out what is stealing your time from the Lord. Serve His interests instead of your own.

Do you want to be a ruler in the household of God? Do you want Him to show Himself strong for you? Then take up Jesus' thoughts today. Take up His purposes and His plans. Now is the time to be faithful!

A Global Best-seller By Billy Graham
His every word is a treasure of knowledge and understanding.
—Proverbs 2:6 (TLB)

It is small wonder . . . the Bible has always been the world’s best-seller! No other book can touch its profound wisdom, its poetic beauty, or the accuracy of its history and prophecy. Its critics who claimed it to be filled with forgery, fiction, and unfulfilled promises are finding that the difficulties lie with themselves, and not the Bible. Greater and more careful scholarship has shown that apparent contradictions were caused by incorrect translations, rather than divine inconsistencies. It was man and not the Bible that needed correcting. And yet—in many homes and among so-called educated people—it has become fashionable to joke about the Bible and to regard it more as a dust-catcher than as the living Word of God. . . . Too many families have used the Bible as a safe storage place for old letters and pressed flowers, and have overlooked entirely the help and assurance that God intended this Book to give them.

How can we know the Bible is true? Here are 5 reasons to trust it.

Maybe you find the Bible hard to understand. Here’s some guidance.

Prayer for the day
Almighty God, I praise You for the authority of Your Word, which speaks to me of my redemption, life as it should be lived, peace and eternal life with You.

How to Be Generous When You’re Stretched Thin by Rick Warren
“Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home …. If you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? …. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money” (Luke 16:9-14 NLT).

It’s easy to give your time, energy, or money when you have a lot to spare. But the true test of generosity comes when you don’t have a surplus. Do you still give what little you have to help somebody else? If you do, congratulations! You’ve passed God’s test of generosity.

Why does God test your generosity? Because you were made in his image, so if you’re going to become like Jesus, you need to learn how to be generous. If you don’t, you’ll never grow to maturity, and you will never have the blessing of God on your life.

What if you’re in a recession and things aren’t going well — you’re out of work or you’re out of money, and you feel like you have no more time or energy to give. How can you be generous when you’re stretched thin?

A good example for us is in 2 Corinthians 8. Paul says this about the churches in Macedonia: “Though they have been going through much trouble and hard times, they have mixed their wonderful joy with their deep poverty, and the result has been an overflow of giving to others” (2 Corinthians 8:2 TLB). Joy and generosity always go together.

An acid test of how much you trust God is the way you handle your money, because it shows what’s important to you.

As a pastor, I want you to succeed financially so you can be generous, help other people, and do good in the world. So here are five principles to help you thrive.

Obeying God’s vision will bring God’s provision. When you say, “God, I’m going to do what you want me to do regardless of whether I have the money or resources to do it,” God will provide everything you need to get it done.

When you do all God tells you to do, he does what you can’t do. Give God whatever you have, however small it may be, and God will multiply it to do more than you imagined, just like he did with the five loaves and two fish.

God gives to generous people. The more generous you are, the more God will give you.
Whenever you have a need, you need to sow a seed. Whatever you need more of, give it away. In order to harvest a crop, you first have to plant the seeds.

There is always a delay between sowing and reaping. A harvest is not automatic. It takes time and patience.

Talk It Over

What is something God has called you to do but you’ve put it off because you think you don’t have the time or resources to do it?
How can you move forward in obedience to show God that you will do what he says and trust him to provide the resources?

Say So by Joel Osteen
"Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has delivered from the hand of the adversary."
(Psalm 107:2, AMPC)

TODAY'S WORD:
Notice that today’s scripture doesn’t say, “Let the redeemed of the Lord think so.” Or, “Let the redeemed believe so.” Of course, it’s important to think right and believe right, but something supernatural happens when we open our mouths and declare a thing. You don’t even have to say it to anyone else. You can just say it to yourself—driving to work or in the shower— say, “The economy may be low, but I am blessed. I am prosperous. I will lend and not borrow.” “I may have had some setbacks, but I know those setbacks are a setup for a comeback! This is still going to be my best year so far. The favor of God is turning things around.” You are prophesying your future.

Remember, when you say what the Lord has done for you, when you declare that you are redeemed, you are opening the door for God to move on your behalf. The scripture tells us that He watches over His Word to perform it. When you declare His Word, when you speak His promises, He is faithful to fulfill them and lead you into victory all the days of your life!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father in heaven, thank You for delivering me and setting me free. I will declare Your goodness. I will declare Your promises. I will declare Your favor so that I can live the good life You have prepared for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Satan Has A FivePoint Attack On The Church! by John Hagee
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Satan Has A FivePoint Attack On The Church!

The following information was given to me via a telephone interview with a middleaged man who had been baptized into the Church of Satan by his mother when he was twelve.  He had been converted but would not permit the use of his name for fear for his life.  Here is what he says the Church of Satan has planned for Christianity:

1. Members of the Church of Satan will be assigned to infiltrate the church.  The female members will try to obtain a counseling session with the pastor and entrap him in a sexual scandal.

2. Others will be told to seek employment, especially in the Business Dept., and release to the press any embarrassing or damaging information they can find.

3. They will join the join the church and start spreading lies about members to other members creating division, discord and suspicion.  I told him that Christianity had been doing a good job of this for two thousand years
4. The Church of Satan now supports preachers on television who are preaching false doctrine.  Anything to detract from the preaching of the Word of God.
5. Satan’s plan is to engage the Church of Jesus Christ in such intense spiritual warfare they will collapse beneath the tension and pressure.  St Paul gives the answer in Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles tricks of the devil.”

The fight is on…LET’S WIN IT!

For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by his goodness].
—2 Corinthians 5:21

I cannot think of anything more awesome than being a friend of God. There is nothing I would rather hear God say than, "Joyce Meyer is My friend." I do not want Him to say, "Joyce Meyer—knows all the prayer principles; she can quote dozens of Bible verses; she sounds very eloquent when she prays; but she really doesn't know Me at all and we are not really friends." I want to know that God thinks of me as His friend, and I believe you long for Him to think of you that way, too. Through Jesus Christ, we have a right to be comfortable with God, to hear His voice, and to go boldly to the throne of grace to get the help we need in plenty of time to meet our needs and the needs of others (see Hebrews 4:16).

One of the best things you can ever do is to develop your friendship with God. Jesus has made you righteous through the blood He shed at the cross, so there is no reason you cannot approach God as boldly and as naturally as you would your best friend on Earth. Remember, friendship with God takes an investment of time and energy to develop. But also remember that as your friendship deepens, your ability to hear God's voice increases. A growing, vibrant, increasingly intimate friendship with God will naturally lead to increasingly effective communication with Him.

Releasing the Holy Spirit’s Power by Dr. Charles Stanley
Romans 8:26-27

God’s Spirit indwells believers at salvation, which means His power is available from that moment (Eph. 1:13). God created a simple way for us to access that strength every single day.

First, we must accept the truth that in and of ourselves, we are powerless to live out God’s will. No matter how capable we may be, our own strength and wisdom are insufficient. Sometimes Christians become prideful about the good they have done or the number of years they’ve been saved. Imagine how much more we could serve the Lord if we would humbly get out of God’s way and let Him work through us.

Second, we surrender our entire life to the guidance and governing of the Holy Spirit. In other words, we choose to conduct our spiritual walk—as well as our vocation, finances, family, and relationships—as God desires. His Spirit is not going to release supernatural power into a life that is continuing in rebellion.

Third, we exercise faith, which means demonstrating belief and trust in the Lord. Faith is the “switch” that releases the Spirit’s power. It’s like saying, “I believe You’ve got a plan, God, so I’m going to trust You to give me what I need in order to do Your will.” Then He will move heaven and earth to provide for your need, whatever it may be.

Merely memorizing and reviewing the steps isn’t enough. Instead, commit to these principles as a way of life. Get used to thinking, I can’t but God can— I’ll submit to His will because His plans are for my good and His glory. That’s the kind of life that overflows with the Holy Spirit’s power.

Bible in One Year: Psalm 103-106

Rest And Find God’s Grace by Joseph Prince
Luke 2:40
And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.

The verse says that the grace of God was upon Jesus. The Bible also says that where sin abounds, grace abounds much more. (Romans 5:20) And when you put the two together, you may find yourself asking, “If the grace of God was upon Jesus, does it mean that He sinned?”

No, Jesus did not sin. (2 Corinthians 5:21) So there must be another explanation as to why God’s grace was upon Jesus. There must be another explanation as to why someone can abound in God’s grace even when he has not sinned.

Let’s look at the word “grace” when it is first mentioned in the Bible. Genesis 6:8 says that “Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord”. Noah’s name means “rest”. So the verse is telling us that rest found grace. In other words, when you rest, you find grace!

So grace was upon Jesus because His life was a life of rest and trust in His Father. He said, “The Son can do nothing of Himself. He can do only what He sees His Father doing.” (John 5:19)

Likewise, grace comes upon you when you rest and trust God. If you have a wayward child, stop nagging at him and trust God to handle the problem. Say, “Jesus, I commit this boy into Your hands. I cannot control him. You can.” If you have a persistent pain in your body, bring it to the Lord. Say, “Jesus, I hand all my worries about this pain to You. You work on the pain.”

“Pastor Prince, what if nothing happens?”

Honestly, if after you have given the matter to Jesus and nothing happens, what can you do? If Jesus Himself can’t do anything about it, do you think you can? But praise God, once the problem is handed over to Jesus, He can and will do a perfect work of taking care of it for you!

So live a life of rest. Have this attitude and tell the Lord, “I can do nothing of myself. I just rest in You Lord and I trust You.” Beloved, what you will see is the grace of God upon you in every situation of your life!

Thought For The Day
God’s grace comes upon you when you rest and trust Him.

Speak Your Salvation by Jerry Savelle
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10 NKJV)

How do you take advantage of the fullness of salvation—deliverance, victory, healing, wholeness—that Jesus died to give you? By following the biblical pattern set forth in the tenth chapter of the book of Romans.

First, you believe in your heart that Jesus has given you His righteousness, and that God now sees you every bit as acceptable and holy as Jesus.

Second, you confess out loud the salvation that you have in Jesus, believing you receive it the moment you ask for it (see Mark 11:24).

Speaking your salvation doesn’t end with making the confession that Jesus is your Lord. The Bible says the person who “does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says” (Mark 11:23). Whenever you have a specific need, you can find the scripture that pertains to your situation, and then make it a personal confession over your life.

Based on Colossians 1:13, you can confess, “I have been delivered from the power of darkness and have been translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. I am free from the power of the devil and free from the power of sin.”

According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, you can declare, “I am in Christ and have become a new person. Old things have passed away and I perceive clearly that all things have become new.”

Begin today to confess out loud your healing, wholeness, deliverance, and victory in Jesus, and enjoy walking in the fullness of the salvation He has already provided for you.

Confession: Having received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, I now reign in life through Christ Jesus. I use my faith and I walk in His grace. I walk in victory over every negative circumstance in my life.

The Songs of Deliverance by Deborah Waldron Fry
Look up, Beloved. Look up from the cares of this world. Hear My songs of deliverance over you. I am the Ancient of Days. I am the only Eternal God. Have no fear, My Child. No angel or demon can remove you from my Hand. There was nothing or no one before Me. No power or principality can overcome you. Nothing in all of creation can separate you from My Love. Think on things that are celestial and above and not on earthly things.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, Who is and was and is to come; the Almighty. You are seated with Me in Heavenly Realms. The heavens are Mine and you are My heir. The beauty of this creation of Mine belongs to you. Your citizenship is not of this world. Your old self has died and your life is now hidden with Christ in your Father God.

See with eyes of faith, Dear One. Look to My Glory all around you. Look to Me, Beloved, the Author and Perfecter of your faith. What you focus on shall take you either higher or lower. Come up higher, My Love. Listen to The Song of Heaven being sung over you. I exult over you with gladness. I will quiet you with My Love. Arise, My beautiful One, and come away

...Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a Mighty One who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing.

...1 Corinthians 15:40There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. But the splendor of the celestial bodies is of one degree, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is of another.

... Romans 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

...Colossians 3:1Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

...Philippians 3:20But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

…Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him; even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen. 8“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and was and is to come; the Almighty."

No Temptation by Tammy Lang Jensen
Just as capsaicin relieves pain, so my word heals pain of the past. Wounds that are festering and still wide open. Never dealt with and buried in a dark corner. Until something presses on or aggravates it. Then the ugliness comes flooding to the top. I have a saying, "Monsters only live in the dark!" What are you running from today?

What are you hiding from, what is too painful to look at. Cast your eyes on Me, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). I am your way maker. Take my hand and I will show you a way of escape. The sin that so easily entangles (Hebrews 12:1), the doubt that can steer you off course. No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13).

When poverty Knocks, let faith answer.... when sickness knocks, let Faith answer.... when desperation comes in, God is your answer! Come to Me my bravest warriors, even the best become weary sometimes. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places. (Jeremiah 29:13-14).

Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). It is time for my fivefold ministry to return to its former glory. It is time for my children to work in unity. No army succeeds that is divided among itself. You have been given a specific task, time to go out and do it....
Tammy Lang Jensen

Prayer is seriously powerful business. So often, though, we treat it as a perfunctory task to be checked off our daily to-do list. How can we shift our attitudes from boredom and obligation to joy and expectation? The Lord always inclines His ear to His children. Learn the foundational principles of effective prayer, and how to confidently approach God with our petitions and requests.

He Helps You Live The Faith Life by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

Religious Christianity teaches that you have to struggle to please God, and to walk with Him. However, the reality is that you don’t have to struggle to please God, because the Holy Spirit helps you live the faith life that pleases Him. When people struggle and still don’t seem to make meaningful progress in life, you can tell they don’t have much fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Real fellowship with the Holy Spirit makes a difference.

Genesis 5:24 says, “And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.” Enoch “walking with God” doesn’t mean he was always taking casual stroll with God, but that he was in continual communion or fellowship with God. Hebrews 11:5 further enlightens us on how Enoch walked with God; it was by faith: “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”

We read in our opening verse that without faith, it’s impossible to please God. Walking with the Spirit is by faith. You don’t see Him with your physical eyes, but you know He’s real, and relate with Him as a person. You’re conscious that He lives in you and carries out His ministry in, and through you. When you walk with Him, He’ll make you wise. He’ll produce excellence in, and through, you; you’ll have a beautiful and fulfilled life.

With the Holy Spirit, you can never be defeated or disadvantaged. He’s the glory of God, and will cause you to walk in dominion over devils, sickness, disease, infirmities, and death. His presence in your life makes you indomitable. Walk with Him, and it’ll be glory, victory, success, excellence and blessings for you all the way!

PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for your eternal love for me! Thank you for your glory in my life, and for opening the eyes of my spirit to your wisdom that I may walk in your perfect will. I worship you today, delighted that you guide me in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Message:
Besides being a God of wonders who does wonders, God can also turn you into a wonder. A young man gave a profound testimony during one of our monthly Holy Ghost Services some years ago. He testified that during a prior Holy Ghost Service, the Lord instructed me to inform the congregants that the clothes they wore to that programme had just been anointed and had therefore been special. Unknown to him, some hired killers had been sent to kill him. Coincidentally, on the day marked for his assassination, he was wearing the very clothes that had been anointed during the Holy Ghost Service. As he passed by the assassins on this fateful day, he heard them say, “This is the fellow”, and immediately, they opened fire on him. Six bullets passed through the front of his clothes and came out at the back, but nothing touched him. He brought the clothes he wore and showed us the bullet holes in front and at the back. He said he could not explain how that could happen without affecting his body. Indeed, there is a God who can turn someone into a wonder!

As people looked at him, they saw someone who by all standards should have been dead, but who was alive because God miraculously protected him from weapons of destruction. This season, God will turn you into a wonder! He will miraculously protect you from every weapon of death formed against you.

Moreover, God can perform wonders through you! He can turn you into an instrument that performs wonders. For instance, on one ordinary day, Peter and John were going along the way when they encountered a lame man who asked for alms, but God used them to heal him (Acts 3:1-11). This same man who had sat at a gate of the temple for years suddenly rose up, began to walk, leap and praise God.

He became a wonder to everyone who knew him, and the duo that God used to perform the miracle also stood out as wonders. Acts 3:11 says,

“And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.”

Beloved, God wants you to be a wonder. He also wants to use you to perform wonders. Are you ready to cooperate with Him? Can you pay the price to become a conduit for sings and wonders to flow through? How concerned are you about God’s Kingdom? How consecrated are you? Are you prepared to give it all it takes?

Prayer point
Father, as You used Peter and John to perform miracles, use me and my family to perform spectacular miracles today.

No More Dying to Do by Gloria Copeland
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Hebrews 2:9

Death. It’s not a popular topic—even among believers. In fact, a great many are just plain scared of it. Oh yes, they talk about having eternal life. Yet when the devil tries to threaten their earthly survival with sickness or calamity, they panic.

Why? Because they haven’t learned to look at death through God’s eyes. Even though their spirit has been made immortal, they haven’t renewed their minds to include that truth. If they had, when the devil tried to push their panic button, they’d just laugh and say, “You can’t scare me, Devil. I’ve done all the dying I’m ever going to do!”

That’s true, you know. The Word of God says that you, as a born-again believer, are never going to see death (John 8:51). Jesus has been your substitute. He suffered death so you wouldn’t have to. And He was raised from death, Hebrews 2:14-15 says, “Destroy[ing] him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver[ing] them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”

If you’ve made Jesus the Lord of your life, the only death you’ll ever experience is behind you now. It occurred the instant you received Christ. At that moment, your old self—the one whose nature was to sin and rebel against God—died. Your body didn’t die, but your spirit man—the real you—died to Satan and all of his works. You became “a new creature” (2 Corinthians 5:17), immortal and absolutely incapable of death!

When you’re finished with your work on the earth, you’re not going to die. You’ll simply shed your earthly shell and relocate to a far more glorious place.

Go to the Word and get God’s perspective on death. Make a study of it. Once the reality of your immortality begins to dawn on you, the devil will never be able to threaten you with it again.
