Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moth eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moth and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal (Matthew 6:19-20). Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:21).
If I have a choice of a heart running around here, seeking its own selfish way, or a heart sold out to heavenly things; I will choose the latter. And as the latter Rains come, and strengthen the soil, making it easy to grow. Out of the stump of David’s family (Jesse) will grow a shoot— yes, a new branch bearing fruit from the old root (Isaiah 11:1). His young shoots will grow. His splendor will be like an olive tree, his fragrance like I cedar of Lebanon (Hosea 14:6).
As we continue to watch God’s love grow, as we smell the sweet aroma of heaven. Therefore, consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amount to idolatry (Colossians 3:5). Knowing this, that our old self was crucified with him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin (Romans 6:6). So that the new growth will be pure, and holy, and lovely; not contaminated by worldly desires.
You shall know a tree by it’s fruit. A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. And out of the wellspring of a man’s heart, he speaketh (Luke 6:45). The carnal desires of your flesh are at enmity with your soul. No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other (Matthew 6:24). Completely devote your life to God today. And he will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings you cannot contain.
Your mind cannot conceive nor can it contain, what God will do for those who love him. Be loyal to your God and choose this day whom you will serve....GOD OR MONEY?....
