The Peacock Christian symbol represents Eternal life and the resurrection because it sheds its old feathers each year and grows new ones.....Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.
In the center, around the throne were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back (Revelation 4:6). As you lay your head down at night and go to sleep, there is more taking place in heaven then you could ever imagine. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps (Psalm 121:4).
It is hard for our mortal bodies to grasp Eternal things. A challenge for our human thinking to fully grasp what God wants to reveal. The Lord our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that He has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions (Deuteronomy 29:29).
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3). You were cherry picked, handpicked by Almighty God. Who has had many hours to ponder your purpose. To make sure you fit perfect with all the other pieces, He has surrounded you with. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly.
As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love (Ephesians 4:16). The creator of the universe has knit and joined you perfectly together. So you could walk on a sure foundation, and lean your faith on a solid rock. The stone the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone (Psalm 118:22). Find your cornerstone, your capstone, and your memorial stone. No who you stand on, what you stand for, and how to remind your kids what to stand for. We will use the stones to build a memorial. In the future your children will ask you, “What do these stones mean?” (Joshua 4:6).
We serve a generational God, are you generationally minded? Wise men plant trees they will never sit in the shade of....All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be there Peace (Isaiah 54:13).
The God we serve is watching you for all ETERNITY. And the God of all grace, who called you to his Eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. Are you solid as a rock today, can God trust you with his plans?
