Who among you is bold enough to say God come talk to me. I am looking for fearless soldiers, mighty warriors. Those willing to give it all for a moment in my presence. And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for memorial before the Lord continually (Exodus 28:29).
And they had breast plates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle (Revelation 9:9). Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6:14). But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation. So rather you are a priest or a soldier, God‘s command stands: put on the breastplate, armor up, Girt up, and be ready for battle.
Who among you can stand before me. I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one (Ezekiel 22:30). You lead your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron (Psalm 77:20). Surely, you will not leave us now. I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through there iron bars (Isaiah 45:2).
I believe there remains a remnant, that cry out day and night. Here I am lord, send me! In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of his people (Isaiah 11:11). His priest that have remained faithful, those that have preached the truth. The Prophet that has endured persecution. His people that have endured to the end, holding onto faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.
The tide of the battle is turning, and those who love him will be swept away. Carried off by the current of salvation and a flood of the Father’s love. Stand steadfast and long-suffering, and wait on the hand of the Lord....
