Receiving Correction by Joyce Meyer
A fool despises his father's instruction, but whoever heeds reproof is prudent.

— Proverbs 15:5

Ask yourself how you react to correction or criticism. Try to be honest in your evaluation. Confident people who have validated themselves as valuable can receive correction without anger or a defensive attitude. God says only a fool hates correction (see Proverbs 15:5). Why is that? Because he should be wise enough to want to learn everything he can about himself.

Confident people can listen objectively to another point of view. They can pray about what is said and either receive or reject it according to what God places in their heart.

During the years I was filled with shame and guilt, I could not receive even a tiny word of correction from my husband. If he said anything that even remotely suggested he felt I needed to change in any way, I became emotionally upset, angry, and defensive. Dave would repeatedly say, "I am only trying to help you."

But I could not get past how I felt when I was given his or anyone else's help. If I asked him whether he liked an outfit I was wearing, I would get defensive if he said no. I could not even allow him to give me his honest opinion. If his opinion did not agree with mine, I felt rejected. I am grateful that those days are over. Everyone does not have to like what I like in order for me to feel secure.

It is absolutely wonderful to be able to approve of ourselves, because we believe God approves of us, even though others do not. It is good to be humble enough to receive correction, yet confident enough not to let the opinions of others control us.

Prayer Starter: Lord, I truly want to learn and grow—to become more like you. Help me to be more confident—knowing that You love and accept me—so I won’t be controlled by the opinions of others. I also ask for Your grace to humbly receive correction when it’s needed from You or other people in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The Promises of God’s Word by John Hagee
Psalm 27:14
Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

The promises of God’s Word may take longer to come to pass than your impatient self wants, but if you wait on the Lord, He will strengthen your heart and keep His promises. He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. He is the God who can do exceedingly abundantly above all that you could ask or think. He’s the One who said that when you call on Him, He will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you know not. He’s the One who said that He will provide your every need according to His riches in glory. He’s the One who brings you peace that surpasses understanding and joy in the midst of great sorrow. He is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.

Wait upon the Lord for He is worthy. He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the fairest of ten thousand, the Lamb of God for sinners slain. He has conquered death, hell and the grave. He is your Savior, Redeemer and Good Shepherd - faithful and true. What a mighty God we serve! Wait, I say, on the Lord!

Blessing:

Now may the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May your children and your children’s children live in the liberty we enjoy because in our generation, we stood up and were counted for righteousness’ sake. In Jesus’ name, I pray you receive this blessing all the days of your life. And all of God’s children said, “Praise the Lord.”

Created to Serve God by Dr. Charles Stanley
1 Thessalonians 1:1-10

One of the characteristics of fallen human nature is the rejection of what’s best. This began all the way back in the Garden of Eden, when Satan tempted Eve to rebel against God and exert her right to determine her own course. Ever since, people have been pursuing their desires based on self-interest. It’s understandable that this is the world’s mindset; sadly, though, it is also the attitude of many Christians who attend church but consider serving an encroachment on their time.

Such self-centered reasoning is grounded in three misconceptions.

1. We don’t understand who God is. He’s the divine Creator of the universe and the sovereign Ruler over heaven and earth. He redeemed us from sin with the precious blood of His Son—in other words, He purchased us from slavery to sin. In that way, we become His slaves, who serve Him out of love and gratitude.

2. We don’t understand why we are here. We were created to worship and serve God. This is our destiny and the way we glorify Him.

3. We don’t understand the Lord’s great purpose in the world. He is building His kingdom, and we have been commissioned to be involved in this process by ministering to one another and proclaiming the gospel near and far.

God intended Christian service to be a divine privilege, a fulfilling opportunity, and an avenue of blessing. To say we can’t fit it into our schedule is a rejection of what God has commanded and ordained as best. But the truth is, what we forfeit by not serving is far greater than anything we could gain by selfishly pursuing our own way.

Wisdom To Win by Jerry Savelle
If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering … James 1:5-6 AMP)

God always has a way to get you out of trouble and into the victory He has planned for you. This victory comes through the wisdom, knowledge, an understanding you need in your situation.

So how do you tap into this wealth of wisdom? Wisdom is received from God exactly the same way anything else is received from God: by asking in faith.

First, meditate on the promise found in James 1:5 until you know in your spirit that God is going to give you the wisdom you need. Then, simply ask Him for it and believe from that moment that you have received all the answers and understanding you need for the situation. Even if you still feel confused or uncertain, thank God for giving you the wisdom you asked for.

If the answer you need isn’t apparent two seconds after you ask, don’t waiver. Rest in the fact that God has answered your request. As you continue to thank Him and read His Word, the answers you need to get you out of that trouble will certainly come.

Confession: Father, I come to you in faith today, asking for the wisdom I need to obtain victory in my situation. I refuse to waiver as I thank you for the wisdom you have promised to so liberally give to me. I receive it now in Jesus’ name.

God Can Use Those Whom The World Rejects by Joseph Prince
1 Corinthians 1:26

For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.

You may think that you are a nobody, maybe even a has-been or a loser in the eyes of the world. Take heart because God’s Word says that if you are not wise, not mighty or not noble according to the flesh, then you are a prime candidate for Him to call on! And when He begins to use you, you will see His favor, power and increase change your life.

In the eyes of the ancient world, Moses was the rising star of Egypt. The Bible tells us that in the first 40 years of his life, “Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and deeds” (Acts 7:22). But God could not use him then because he was too smart, strong and full of himself.

It was only 40 years later, after having been in the unglamorous desert of Midian, emptied of himself and thinking that he was a has-been, that God sent him to confound the might of Pharaoh.

The world may pass them by—the weak, the small, the forgotten and the losers, but God chooses them to confound those mighty in the world.

I know this to be true. As a little boy, I grew up facing rejection and ridicule because of my Indian-Chinese racial mix. And as a teenager, I was the butt of many jokes because of my stammering and stuttering.

When I was in my teens, I remember praying to God, “I don’t know what I can do for or give You, but You got me—spirit, soul and body.” I don’t know how many times I prayed that prayer. But I knew that God heard me because He called me. Only God would dare choose me, a stammerer and stutterer, to pastor a church for Him that has since grown to more than 30,000 members today.

I know what I was and where I came from. I know I have done nothing and can do nothing apart from His anointing and grace in my life.

My friend, when you think that you are weak and small compared to others in the world, that is when God can use you to do great and wonderful things for Him!

How many times have you sat in a room full of people yet because of the content of the conversation, you felt completely alone? The feeling of loneliness is not unique to a sad few, it's a human condition, affecting relationships all around the world. Loneliness has such a disruptive effect that it has repercussions for our health, negatively affecting our bodies on a cellular level.

King David, the warrior, the man who was dear to God’s heart, was not exempt from loneliness. As if in a journal, David wrote the psalms with his real, raw feelings. In Psalm 22, we read his discouraged thoughts in a season of loneliness. He thought himself unworthy. David’s very identity was at stake – all of his triumphs were cast in the shadow of his lonely thoughts.

How often have we been in this very position, losing the sense of who we are? Yet through David words, we can find strength. It’s who he wrote his words to that counts–to God. David, despite feeling empty, isolated and unwanted, gave over his grievances to God, the only one who can provide the perfect answer to our feelings of emptiness. The Lord is our rescue, never leaving us alone when we are down and out.

The perfect company, position, or surroundings can’t fill us up, but God can. So like David, let us never forget where we could draw on strength to get us out of loneliness. Rather than putting on a façade and further isolating ourselves, let’s give the turmoil that’s happening on the inside to God, so we can be transformed from the inside out.

Let God Rub Off on You by Gloria Copeland
For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning...to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness].

Romans 8:29, The Amplified Bible

As a believer, you're destined to be molded into the image of Jesus, to grow in spirit until you look just like Him. God's supernatural power began that process the moment you were born again. You were changed on the inside instantly. How successful you are in allowing this change to progress to the outer man is mostly up to you. We grow up spiritually just like we grow up physically.

What can you do to speed this growing process along?

Spend more time pursuing the things of the Spirit than you spend pursuing the things of the flesh. Become dedicated to the Word of God and to fellowship with Him. Be willing to pull aside from the busy things of life and get alone with Him, so He can guide you, teach you and share His likeness with you.

Have you ever noticed that if you spend time around people who have strong personalities, you will automatically be affected by them? You'll find yourself doing the things they do. Their mannerisms will rub off on you. You can't help it. They just influence you, especially if they are people you respect and admire.

The same thing is true in your relationship with God. If you spend enough time with Him, He's going to rub off on you! His ways will become your ways.

So make yourself available to Him by praying in the spirit and worshiping and loving Him. Hang around His Word and the people who love His Word and live it.

Before you know it, you'll begin to notice yourself changing. You'll find your character becoming more like His. You'll begin to think like He does and talk like He does and even act like He does. His image will begin to shine forth in you!

Meditate on Scripture by Billy Graham
How can a young man stay pure? By reading your Word and following its rules.
—Psalm 119:9 (TLB)

Many of the difficulties we experience as Christians can be traced to a lack of Bible study and reading. We should not be content to skim through a chapter merely to satisfy our conscience. Hide the Word of God in your heart! A little portion well digested is of greater value to the soul than a lengthy portion scanned hurriedly. Do not be discouraged because you cannot understand it all. Go on reading. As you read, the Holy Spirit will enlighten the passages for you. Reading the Bible has a purifying effect upon the heart and mind.

Read more about how to meditate on God’s Word.

Prayer for the day
Let the enlightenment of the riches of Your Word sink deep within my soul, Lord.

Fear Not! by Deborah Waldron Fry
Don't panic, Beloved. The cords of death shall NOT entangle you. Do not fear or be dismayed for the battle is already won. I am the King of Glory, strong and mighty.

You need not fight in this battle. I say to you this day, stand still and see the salvation of your God. I am FOR you. I am the God who sees. Nothing escapes My sight and I have seen the enemy's tactics against you and those you love. You are not fighting flesh and blood, but principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places.

Did you know, Beloved, that I have a War Room? I am THE Strategist with ALL knowledge and all wisdom. I see the end from the beginning. You have the mind of Christ and My Spirit dwelling within your heart. What can stand against you, My Child? I knew what would be happening to you before you were born and I have made provisions for you to withstand the evil one and be victorious in all things. You are an over comer by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony. For GREATER is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Again, I say to you STAND IN FAITH, REST in Me and see what I will do on your behalf.

Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of your God which I will accomplish for you; for the enemy whom you have seen today, you will never see again. No adversity shall overcome you because I have provided an escape! YES! Your LORD will fight for you, you need only to be still. It is finished

…Psalm 116:3The ropes of death entangled me, and the anguish of Sheol overcame me; I was confronted by trouble and sorrow. 4Then I called on the name of the LORD: “O LORD, deliver my soul!” 5The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion

...2 Chronicles 20:17 You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf.

...Exodus 14:13 "Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today; for the enemy whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever. 14 "The LORD will fight for you, you need only to be still.

...Psalm 24:7 Lift up your heads, O gates, And be lifted up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in!

...1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation (adversity) has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are (targeted with adversity from the enemy) tempted, God will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it.

The Power of Jesus Christ by Tammy Lang Jensen
I heard the Lord say,”What do you love about stained glass windows?” As I thought about it, I realized I love all the color, the way the sun shines through and makes rainbows on the floor.

I love that the size, shape and color are only limited by the artist imagination. It was then I heard the Lord say,”Your life is only limited by your own imagination.”

Your preconceived ideas and old mindsets of who you are and what you are capable of. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). You have the power of Jesus Christ at work on the inside of you, so nothing shall be impossible to you. Do you believe that you are beautiful and multifaceted, like the rarest of gems?

You are altogether beautiful , My darling; there is no flaw in you (song of songs 4:7). The God of the universe created you, then looked and said,”It is good!” I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well (Psalm 139:14). The Lord is day by day stripping away the old and creating the new. Neither do people pour new wine into old wine skins.

If they do, the skin will burst; the wine will run out and the wine skins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wine skins, and both are preserved (Matthew 9:17). Let the Lord preserve you, keep you, test you, try you; whatever it takes to become all he has created you to be. The Lord has your days planned out for good and not for evil. What he has planned for you is so much better than what you have planned for yourself. Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord‘s purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21).

So then my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in My presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). I continue to perfect you until the day of my return. Be ye perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Not that I have already obtained all this, or that I have already reached perfection.

But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me (Philippians 3:12). Let the Lord possess you today. Say,”Here I am Lord, have your way!” Don’t let your own mind minimize what you can do in the kingdom. You were created to soar with eagles. So what are you waiting on warrior. It is time to take flight....

Replace Worry with Worship by Rick Warren
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?” (Matthew 6:25 NIV).

God is the source of everything you need to live. He is the Good Shepherd who feeds, leads, and meets your needs. You don’t have to look anywhere else. You don’t have to look to Wall Street. You don’t have to look to the government. You don’t have to look to your spouse, your individual retirement account, your Social Security, or your job.

If you’re going to put your security in something, you need to put it in something that can never be taken from you. You can lose your health. You can lose your job. You can lose your good looks. You can lose your family. You can lose your life. You can lose your mind. You can even lose your way.

God, however, is never lost. And there is nothing you need that God can’t supply. Philippians 4:19 says, “God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (ESV).

So why do we worry so much? Worry may be the most common sin on the planet. It is the direct result of forgetting that God is good all the time. You can pray, or you can panic. If you’re not praying, you’re panicking. You can worry, or you can worship. If you’re not worshiping, you’re worrying. As soon as you invite worship in the front door, worry goes out the back door.

The Bible says, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?” (Matthew 6:25 NIV).

Clearly, God doesn’t want you worrying about anything. Yet it’s hard for all of us to stop the worry habit. It’s just in our nature!

The best place to start is prayer. Once you’ve recognized how worry keeps you from the goodness of God and you’ve decided that you don’t want it to get the best of you, you can take things to God in prayer instead.

Talk It Over

How has worry affected you physically? What about emotionally? Spiritually?
When was the last time you worried about something? Five minutes ago? Last week? Are you worried about something right now?
Spend some time right now praying for the things you are worrying about. What difference does it make?

You Are A Champion! by Joel Osteen
"Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Matthew 19:26, NIV

TODAY'S WORD:

Conquerors don't give up when they lose ground. They march forward with confidence knowing that they will claim victory. It should be the same with us in our daily lives. The Bible says you don't have to worry—you are an overcomer in Christ! When worry comes against us, we can choose not to dwell on those negative thoughts. Like changing TV channels, you can change the channel in your mind from thoughts of defeat to thoughts of victory. Instead of dreading what could go wrong, meditate on God’s promises. Declare His word, “I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus.” The Holy Spirit lives in you and is fighting your spiritual battles for you. As soon as you pray, the tide of the battle begins to turn! That's why the Scriptures say over and over again that you can overcome anything. You can claim victory through Him today!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

God, thank You for Your Holy Spirit, who is fighting my battles for me. Give me the faith to hold on to Your promises and claim victory in Your Name. Instead of worrying, I will be calm and victorious in You!

An Unselfish Attitude by Joyce Meyer
Let all men know and perceive and recognize your unselfishness (your considerateness, your forbearing spirit). The Lord is near [He is coming soon].

— Philippians 4:5 (AMPC)

Disciples of Jesus are called upon to deny themselves and their own interests (see Mark 8:34). I am sure that doesn’t sound too exciting, but it does provide a quality of life that we cannot have while being selfish and self-centered. True happiness is only found when we find something to live for other than ourselves.

I spent the first half of my life being self-absorbed, and then I discovered that Jesus died so I might no longer have to live only for myself. At that point I embarked on a journey of learning to live for God and others. I want to say right away that I have not arrived, but I do press on toward the goal.

Living only for yourself and selfishly seeking only what pleases you is like living in prison and being in solitary confinement. Unless we are willing to die to self, we abide alone; we live isolated lonely lives (see John 12:24); very few people call us friend; and when we are gone, nobody really cares that much. We have traveled through life, and the world is no better because we were here.

I invite you to declare war on selfishness! As occasion and opportunity open up to you, do good to all people (see Galatians 6:10). Be kind and do what is for their welfare.

Make a decision to put a smile on at least three faces today. You may be surprised to find that their smile will make you smile too!

Prayer Starter: Prayer: Father, help me use all of my abilities to be a blessing to other people today and every day. Grant me the grace to live a life that is pleasing to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

God’s Word by John Hagee
Psalm 63:1
O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.

Have you ever read something in God’s Word and wished it wasn’t there? If His Word on certain points, such as “early will I seek You,” doesn’t line up with our will, we may try to forget or disregard it because we don’t want to do what it says. God’s Word sometimes requires us to change our perspective in order for us to be willing to accept it. But we struggle to want to conform to certain truths even though they are the very ones that can transform our lives to become what God wants us to be.

Let me remind you today that God desperately wants you to get to know Him. He’s made a way for you to have a relationship with Him that’s far greater than anything you could ask or think. But in spite of all He has done and can do on your behalf, until you’re willing, He will not. So for everything He can do, He won’t until you do. You have to seek Him, and by hearing His Word, you’ll begin to develop the faith that overcomes the world.

Child of God, whenever you begin to have faith in God and take a step in God’s direction, He’ll move heaven and earth on your behalf!

Blessing:

And now, may the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May God help righteousness arise; may God expose the ungodly; may God expose every secret and corrupt thing; may righteousness return and we the people discover our voice because we are the bright city on a hill holding the righteous torch of God’s truth. In Jesus’ name, we pray that for the future, Amen.

Living in Freedom by Dr. Charles Stanley
Romans 6:1-14

When Eve accepted Satan’s offer of greater independence from God, do you think she experienced more freedom? The answer is obvious. She, Adam, and the entire human race became enslaved to sin from that point onward. What looked like a great deal ended in deadly bondage.

Although Christ has set believers free from slavery to sin, we, like Eve, oftentimes long for the “freedom” to do what we want. But whenever we give in to sinful desires, we’re behaving like slaves instead of living as free children of God. He’s given us the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to say no to sin if we’ll just yield to His leadership.

The consequences of reverting to our old ways are devastating. We’ll sink deeper into bondage to sin, lose the peace and joy of fellowship with Christ, grieve the Holy Spirit, and find ourselves under the disciplining hand of the Father. We can also miss out on the blessing of helping to advance His kingdom—by falling into the hypocrisy of living like the world, we ruin our testimony because there’s no discernible benefit to having a relationship with God. Our unsaved friends, relatives, and coworkers are watching. Unless they see a difference between us and themselves, why would they want our Savior?

If Satan whispers in your ear that the Lord’s limitations are depriving you of something good, remember what happened to Eve in the book of Genesis. Liberty to do whatever we want is slavery to self and sin. Only when we live within the Father’s protective boundaries can we experience the freedom Christ purchased for us.

Spiritual Laws by Jerry Savelle
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8 NKJV)

Just as God established physical laws, such as the law of gravity, so there are spiritual laws that have been set in motion by God. And they are just as sure as physical laws.

God’s physical laws can be found in a physics book; His spiritual laws can be found in the Word of God, the Bible.

Although it is God’s will that you be fruitful, blessed, healed, and prosperous, there are some prerequisites to obtaining these blessings. And these prerequisites are found in His Word, specifically in Joshua 1:8, which we read above.

The spiritual law and its prerequisites found in this verse can be summed up simply like this: talking the Word + meditating the Word + acting on the Word = prosperity, wise dealing, and success.

I have applied this spiritual law consistently to my life and ministry for many years now, and it never fails to produce the promised results. But this law wasn’t just written for Jerry Savelle; it was written for you too. And when you begin to apply it to your own life, you can expect the same results.

Confession: I make the quality decision today to study the Word of God concerning my areas of need. I believe the Holy Spirit reveal to me the spiritual laws I need to clearly see and put into practice so that I may obtain the victory in every area of my life.

God Can Turn Your Evil Day Into Good Days by Joseph Prince
Esther 9:22

…rest from their enemies…sorrow to joy…mourning to a holiday…

Today, many Jews still celebrate the feast of Purim. The name Purim is derived from “the lot” which a Gentile, Haman, cast concerning the fate of the Jews when they were in Persia under King Ahasuerus.

Haman, the villain in this story in the book of Esther, hated the Jews and sought to exterminate them. He got King Ahasuerus to allow him to issue a decree to annihilate all the Jews in one day—the thirteenth day of the twelfth month of Adar. But God used Queen Esther and her uncle Mordecai, both Jews, to turn the tables on Haman and save the Jews.

Haman was hanged on the very gallows that he had constructed for Mordecai! Then, the king allowed Queen Esther and Mordecai to issue a counter-decree to allow all the Jews to defend themselves and destroy their enemies in one day—the thirteenth day of the twelfth month of Adar!

So instead of the Jews being exterminated on that fateful day, their enemies were destroyed! God turned an evil day for the Jews into good days. He turned their mourning into rejoicing and gave them victory over their enemies.

My friend, God can do the same for you today. He only wants you to remain in your position of rest in Christ. You see, because of Jesus’ finished work at the cross, you are seated in heavenly places in Christ, far above every principality, and evil assault the devil can throw at you (see Ephesians 2:6). Just as Mordecai sat within the king’s gate, and refused to stand up and bow to Haman, let’s not “bow” to the devil by being persuaded to move from our position of rest in Christ. Don’t allow him to get you worried, frantic and doing things to save yourself.

Queen Esther was also in a position of rest before Haman was executed (see Esther 7). She was seated on a couch as Haman pleaded with her for his life. While doing so, he accidentally fell over the couch where the queen was. The king, thinking that Haman was assaulting his queen, sent him to the gallows!

Beloved, remain at rest in Christ’s finished work, and He will turn your evil day into days of rejoicing and feasting!

The outpouring of the Spirit is the evidence of the second coming of Christ. When we see this, it is because Christ is telling us He is coming soon.

This revival goes beyond our human reasoning and it’s something we’ve never experienced before.

Don't Let Them Perish Without God by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:17).

Imagine that you have friends or relatives who aren’t born again or people who work with you who aren’t born again; don’t let them go to hell! You need to weep and cry for their salvation. In your intercessory prayers, you need to wail and travail for their souls, that the light of the glorious Gospel would shine in their hearts. You need to pray for them knowing the terror that awaits them, until you’re assured of their salvation. Don’t take this lightly.

Think about your uncles and aunts; think about your cousins, your spouse, your children; don’t let them perish without God! Don’t let them go to hell! Do you know what it is to be in the darkest place for eternity, and never have hope of coming out?

Your presence in your home, school, workplace, neighbourhood, estate, city or country isn’t for a game. It isn’t just for you to be happy and celebrate that you’re born again; you must be concerned for the salvation of others. You’re a saviour to your world. You were sent to save others.

You’re on earth and alive to do the Lord’s work; to win more and more people to Jesus Christ. We’ve got to snatch them out of hell; some of them are already so close, and if we don’t rescue them, they’ll slip right into it. We must not let them!

The Lord has committed to us the ministry of reconciliation, and faithfully, we must keep carrying out our ministry, turning men from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God.

PRAYER
Blessed Father, I thank you for making the Gospel heard and received in my world, and your righteousness established in the hearts of men. Indeed, the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ. The Lord reigns forever and ever. Amen.
