A Metal Pipe by Tammy Lang Jensen
I was taken to a vision of Jesus with his mouth up to a metal pipe. As I looked closer, I realized he was creating a beautiful piece of blown glass artwork.

He would gently spin the glass, examine it, then return it to the fire. Every time he removed it from the fire, he would look for cracks, air bubbles and imperfections.

As he would blow the glass and spin it around, it looked like a beautiful dance. The master creator and the creation working together in unison. Have you been willing to lay upon the potters wheel. Have you been joyful, every time you have been returned to the fire.

Do you fear you suffer in vain, or do you have faith it is unto something. See, I have a refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction (Isaiah 48:10). Woe to the one who quarrels with his maker-and earthenware vessel among the vessels of earth!

Will the Clay say to the potter, what are you doing? Are the thing you are making say, He has no hands? (Isaiah 45:9). Will you endure to the end, to help return to Me what is mine. How can you help the hurt, broken and the lost, if you don’t understand their suffering. Could it be that your pain works out compassion, and your lack the ability to be generous. My ways are not your ways. And my thoughts are higher than your thoughts. Who can conceive what the Lord is doing, who can fathom his infinite wisdom. How can you put an infinite God in a finite box. Do you know the parameters and boundaries of God?

For you God have established the boundaries of the earth; you have made summer and winter (Psalm 74:17). You are bigger than my mind can understand, and larger than my heart has love. You filled the oceans and commanded them to stay. You know the number of hairs upon my head, and the grains of sand that create the ocean floor. The earth is your footstool and the heavens at your command. You flung the stars into existence and can shake the earth on its axis.

For thus says the Lord of host, once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and also the dryland (Haggai 2:6). There will be men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken (Luke 21:26). I hear the phrase,”ROLL CALL!” Are you in or are you out? For I am surely coming....Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come (Matthew 24:42). Tic Tock....
