The Blessing of God by John Hagee

“ And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God” Deuteronomy 28:2.

The Blessing of God by John Hagee
Philippians 4:19
My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus

Notice it says, ”need,” not “greed!”

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 2.  Remember the connection between spiritual prosperity and success.

“The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:  but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing” Psalm 34:10.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" Psalm 23:1.

“ And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God” Deuteronomy 28:2.  The Lord will give you cities you didn’t build, wells you didn’t dig and vineyards you didn’t plant Deuteronomy 6:10-11.  If you will honor God, he will give you the power to get wealth.  He desires that you prosper until the wicked look at you and say, “Why are they prospering?”  And the wicked shall say, “They are the children of the Lord and the blessing of God is upon them.”  That’s God’s will for your life!

But as you think the word and speak the word, you have to act on the word of God.  Here is where so many Christians stop—they won’t act on the word.  Moses had to put his rod in the water before the sea would divide.  Peter had to get out of the boat before he could walk on the water.  Elijah had to pour water on the sacrifice before the fire fell from heaven.  Do you think he understood that?  No, he did not.

If all that you ever obey is what you understand, then you’ll never obey God.  Some of you will only follow the Lord as far as your logic can understand—which means you’ll never get to the first grade in faith.  The man with the withered hand had lots of logical reasons why he shouldn’t even try to stretch it out.  But in obedience to the word of God, he did it.

Many of you want to succeed, but your thought life is poisoned with anger.  You’re filled with bitterness and resentment over the past.  You want to succeed, but you have no goal, you have no defined purpose.  Perhaps you’re trying to succeed without God, patting yourself on the back as a self-made man.  You’ve waited for your circumstances to change rather than your changing your attitude.  You’ve lived in self-pity, making religious-sounding excuses.

Quit making excuses and listen.

God is saying, “If you’ll put your hand in my hand, I’ll make you greater than anything you ever dreamed of being.”
