For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
How Do You Qualify For Success? The First Step Is To Become God’s Child.
Why must you do that first? Because God owns it all and he controls it all for the benefit of his children. Are you qualified to pray, “Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed by thy name”?
Not until you’ve received God the Father through Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 4:16). These days people are running around saying there are lots of ways to be saved. No, there’s not. There’s just one way, through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Is God your father? Jesus told the Pharisees they were of their father the devil (John 8:44). Jesus taught the disciples to pray, “Our Father which art in heaven.” So there are two fathers and there are two families. To which family do you belong?
