A Field of Lightning Bugs by Tammy Lang Jensen

The Lord showed me a vision of him and I standing in a field of lightning bugs. He had me catch a few in a mason jar and look at them. He said,”Do you think I need something big and elaborate to make the darkness flee?” 

He said, why do you stand in the corner trembling, afraid of the dark? The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5).

My child, Christ lives on the inside of you. Therefore, every time you take a step forward, advancing the kingdom of Christ, light has invaded the darkness. I began to hear in my spirit,”This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine”....

Let your light shine, let the Christ in you be evident. Even the world perceives light, even the world recognizes Love. Let my love, light and laughter consume you. Let it invade your home like the fragrance of heaven. Am I not a sweet smelling incense before your nose? For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing (2 Corinthians 2:15). May all who come in contact with you be counted has those being saved. May not one soul perish on your watch. On the day of judgment, we will be held accountable for our territory, our spheres of influence. Did all who knew you, hear about the love of Jesus Christ. Did you testify of his goodness in your life. Did you share how he Ransomed you from darkness? How he saved you from the brink of destruction.... though the devil held you bound, the blood of Jesus set you free. Whom the Son sets free, is free indeed....

So I ask you today,”Are you in love with your chains?” All that glitters is not gold. The same thing you think will bless you, might be what destroys you. Have you shined the light of God on it, does it withstand the test of transparency.
TRANSPARENT- in a business or government context, is honesty and openess. Transparency is the quality of being easily seen through....

Remember, monsters only hide in the dark, so if you wouldn’t do it in front of God or your mother, it probably needs to go. But there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open (Luke 8:17). The Lord is getting ready, and in fact has already started to shine his light on government, the church, the elite and the deviant. He has sent me to ask you, “Are you a lightning bug for God?” He says to tell you, a little light goes a long way....

The invitation has been extended, will you enter through the narrow gate. Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it (Matthew 7:13)....

In a vision the Lord and I hold hands and skip across the rocks in the river. It looks difficult and treacherous, but we laugh with delight. He says, “My beloved, is anything too hard for me?”....
