The Plans of God by Pastor Mark Jensen
Good morning friends and family of God Honor Strength, welcome to the beginning of a new week, a week where anything and everything is possible when God is first in your life. I hope each of you had an amazing and blessed weekend, and were able to spend time with family and friends, and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Yesterday, as I preached this sermon live on social media, I was standing in the middle of a pasture, some of you may have seen it and were wondering why. This is a place of peace and tranquility for me and my family. Being outdoors, being around horses, enjoying the sounds and the sights and yes even the scents of being around horses. There is a calming affect that really can't be put into words, and this my friends is something each of us need in our lives. A place where you are at peace, a place where you can find quiet, a place where you can be still and step away from all the busyness of your everyday world.

When we get so caught up in the daily grind of our lives, we have a tendency to get overwhelmed, overworked and our minds and our bodies get overrun with all that keeps us from making it through to the next day; worry, fear, anxiety and sometimes even anger. We begin to focus only on what we can see and touch and feel what is only right in front of us and not what God himself, has planned for us. We allow ourselves to start believing that we can't continue like this. We begin to tell ourselves that we don't have what it takes to make it through another day. We lie to ourselves and say that there isn't a way past this time. That is when you need to declare over yourselves, that even though I might not see a way in the natural, I know that my Father in Heaven has a way, for he is a supernatural God.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for thou art with me;
They rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou annoinest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalm 23

We have all heard this scripture before, some have memorized it and recite it often, but we all need to hear it and speak it and feel it and live by it. We all suffer in our own ways on a daily basis with our problems, whether it be with our finances, with our health, with our personal lives, and at times we just get tired, we just get weary, we just get fed up and want to wave the white flag, we want to throw in the towel.

That is the time that you need to seek out our Father in Heaven, that is when you need to drop to your knees and let Him hear your prayers, let Him hear your cries, let Him know your thoughts, let Him feel your pain. Never doubt for a moment that He doesn't already know all these things in you, but acknowledge them to yourself and share them with Him, admit to them and give them all over to God.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1

When you forget who you are and whose you are, you begin to believe that it is you who makes each day come and go, it is you who makes things happen, it is you who begins to believe that is in control of your life and your future. All that we face each day, as busy and hectic as our lives can become, as crooked as our path may become, we can never forget that we are children of the most high God, who planned our days before we were in our Mothers womb, before he even breathed life into us, before we were even born. You need to and I need to never forget to submit to Him completely all areas of our lives, trust in Him completely in everything we do and be obedient to Him in everything he asks of us. There is no, part time believer, there is no Sunday only praise and worship, there is no temporary will, there is only one full time, everyday, permanent Father in Heaven and He remains on the throne and he remains in control.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy, and with song I praise Him.

Psalm 28:7
I declare over each of you as well as myself, that this day and everyday forward, we will submit to our God, we will trust in our God, we will be obedient to our God, we will seek out our God in every area of our lives. In Jesus' name, Amen.

As I speak a blessing over each of you, always remember, I am here for you if you ever need to talk or get something off your chest or if you need prayer for yourselves, your family or your friends. Please do not hesitate to contact me.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

Dear Father God, thank you for blessing us with this day and loving us as Your children. Watch over each and every one of us as we start each day, as we go through this week, keeping us in the palm of Your hand. Guide us in our daily lives, directing us on the path You have planned for us, bringing forth the dreams you have planted in each of our hearts. For we know who we are and whose we are, children of the most high God. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

"Keep your Faith strong, your Hope alive and your Prayers never ending."
God Bless
Pastor Mark

Follow the Leader by Joel Osteen

"...God is with us; He is our leader..."
2 Chronicles 13:12, TLB

TODAY'S WORD:
Who or what are you following today? In other words, who or what has the most influence in your life? Do you make decisions based on what the news says or what someone in your family says? It's not wrong to get other people's advice, but what you allow to influence you becomes your leader. Choose to follow God's commands and let Him be your leader. When God is your leader, nothing can stand in your way! God has promised again and again that He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is a good leader, and you will never be alone when you're serving Him.

Is there an area in your life that you need direction? Follow your Leader. Is there a decision you need to make today? Follow your Leader. As you submit yourself to Him, He will lead you down paths of righteousness and peace and into victory in every area of your life!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
"God, thank You for going with me and leading me into victory day by day. Thank You that this victory can start today as I constantly rely on You in Jesus' name. Amen."

Living Large by Joyce Meyer

Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
—Isaiah 43:18-19

I truly believe this moment can be life-changing for you—that it will help you step out onto the path of your true life. The life that has been waiting for you since the beginning of time—and the one you may have been missing due to fear and intimidation. Satan is the master of intimidation, but once you realize that he is the one behind all your hesitation, you can take authority over him by simply placing confidence in Jesus Christ and stepping out boldly to be all you can be. God told Joshua, “Fear not, for I am with you.” He is sending you that same message today: FEAR NOT! God is with you, and He will never leave you or forsake you.

Abraham was told, “God is with you in everything you do” (see Genesis 21:22). That sounds like large living to me. Are you ready for a larger life, one that leaves you feeling satisfied and fulfilled? I believe you are, and I want to do everything I can to help you on your journey.

Lord, I make my bold confession that I am thrilled to have You with me today and forever. Today is another step in my journey. Help me to live large. Amen.

Learn To Wait Upon The Lord by John Hagee
Isaiah 40:31—They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
Learn To Wait Upon The Lord.  Learn To Hear The Voice Of God!

Hearing form God is something you learn to do.  Years ago I had a church member who would phone me and start talking the first rattle out of the box. “Yakkety yak, yak, yak, yak, yak, breath yakkety yak, yak, yak.  When they finished, click went the phone.  I never got a chance to get a word in.  God spoke to my heart, “That’s just how you pray.  You tell me everything you want me to hear and then you shut up and run off.”  From that day on, whenever I go to pray, I take a legal pad.  Ad when I get through telling God what’s on my mind, I listen to see what’s on God’s mind.  What He tells me when I shut up is what gives birth to every sermon I preach and every book I write.  If you want to hear form God—listen.  God wants to talk to you.

There are some things that will hinder prayer.  Unbelief hinders prayer.  The Bible says, “He that cometh to God must believe that he is” Hebrews 11:6.  Another thing that hinders prayer is sin in your life.  David recognized that.  He said, “If I behold iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me” Psalm 66:18.  God will hear your prayer of confession, but if there’s sin in your life, he doesn’t answer your prayer.  When there’s discord between a husband and wife, Peter said, your prayers are hindered 1 Peter 3:7.  Unforgiveness hinders your prayers.  The Lord’s Prayer says, “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” Matthew 6:12.  It’s very clear.  If you will not forgive another, God cannot forgive you.

Grace Will Give You What You Don’t Deserve by Jerry Savelle
For by grace you have been saved [blessed, healed, delivered, made whole] through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV, brackets added).

The biblical definition of grace is “unmerited favor.” It is something you didn’t earn; it is the gift of God. So when you see the word grace in your Bible, you can accurately interchange it with the word favor.

God’s grace, His unmerited favor, is simply God giving you something you don’t deserve. The Bible says, “Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness” (Romans 4:4-5 NKJV). Simply put:

Grace makes a way for God to bless you in life—regardless of your merits.
Grace will give you what you did not earn.
Grace will qualify you for what you do not qualify for.
Grace will give you what you do not deserve.
Have you ever wondered why some believers are more blessed than others? Is it because of their spiritual performance, the hours spent reading the Word, praying, and fasting? No! They are blessed because they actually believe God has justified them. And they’ve received His grace, knowing that grace will give them what they don’t deserve.

Confession: Through faith in Jesus Christ, I have been saved by the grace of God. I did not earn this grace. It is a precious gift that has given me what I don’t deserve: God’s favor, blessing, health, and wholeness—spirit, soul, and body.

The Teacher Of All Things Is In You by Joseph Prince
John 14:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things…

If you are asking whom or where you can go to to get the help you need, ask no more. Just turn to God who has already promised you the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom He has sent in Jesus’ name to dwell in you.

The Holy Spirit will teach you all things. Yes, teach you all things! Do you really believe that? Or are you like some who believe that you seek God’s counsel only for spiritual things, but consult “professional” help for all other things in your life?

God does not want you to run to and rely on worldly wisdom. Now, there is nothing wrong with going to a doctor or engaging a financial consultant, but God wants you to come to Him first for counsel and direction. That is why He has sent the Holy Spirit, the Counselor (John 16:7, NIV), to teach you all things. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and He will guide you into all truth. (John 16:13)

The apostle John said, “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things…the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things…” (1 John 2:20, 27)

So the way God teaches you is through the anointing within. It is a continuous anointing. In any particular situation, He is anointing you from within, teaching you by the presence or absence of His peace.

For example, a deal you are considering may sound very reasonable. But if you don’t have the peace in your spirit, don’t sign on the dotted line. Sign only when you have the peace. Be led by His peace and you will find that your heart will not be troubled, neither will it be afraid. (John 14:27)

When you follow that peace which only God can give to you as an inward witness, good things and even miracles will come forth!

Thought For The Day
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and He will guide you into all truth.

Hope: The Anchor of the Soul by Dr. Charles Stanley
Hebrews 6:13-20

An anchor was a popular image in the ancient Mediterranean world. Because that economy depended on shipping, the anchor came to symbolize safety and steadiness. The writer of Hebrews used the word to remind believers that God has given a hope that holds firm in any storm.

Hope is a healthy attitude. Anticipating good brings comfort to the mind and heart. In contrast, a state of hopelessness is a terrible condition in which to find oneself. It’s overwhelming and depressing to think that what you’re facing cannot be changed or resolved. For the person who has lost all hope, life looks like a long, dark tunnel going nowhere.

Included in Proverbs is a verse that describes the result of this oppressive feeling: “Hope deferred makes the heart sick” (Prov. 13:12). Emotional, physical, and even mental illness haunt a person who feels trapped in a bleak situation. But as long as there is a God, no situation is hopeless. In Him, we have the promise of the second half of that proverb: “Desire fulfilled is a tree of life.”

Believers have a hope that anchors their soul. Our relationship with Jesus Christ brings us close to the throne of heaven, where we can cast all our burdens before an omnipotent God. Moreover, we can cling to Him through any trial that comes our way. Because of the Lord’s great love, He provides strength for weary bodies, peace for anxious minds, and comfort for grieving hearts. In short, He lights that darkened tunnel and tenderly guides us through trying situations.
