Laughter is healing. Humor is a necessity. God created both to keep us sane. In fact, much of the bible is humorous. The Old Testament was written by Jewish people and Jewish humor is sophisticated and funny often pointing out the absurdities, the ridiculous in life.

The first book of the bible, Genesis is full of Jewish humor. It begins with Adam and Eve. In fact, one Jewish Rabbi in writing his own interpretation of Genesis, pointed out that when God completed his work of designing Adam and Eve, God sent them into the Garden of Eden to produce human beings to populate the earth.
