When Moses was leading the children of Israel out of Egypt, he must have assumed it was going to be a smooth sail, only for him to be faced with a sea.
At that point, his followers started raining curses on him for attempting to break them out – they even wished he had left them in Egypt to suffer and die there. Wonder why sometimes we find the pain of problem more enjoyable than the pain of promotion?
Moses cried unto God, and God made him understand that all He was doing was to gain honor over Pharaoh and his people so they could know that our God is the only Living God. Remember the children of Israel doubted Moses’ authenticity, but after they crossed the sea, Exo 14:31 says they believed Moses and feared God.
Maybe you are at a point in your life where you either quit or face the music, I would say face it, because only the one that faces the music gets to dance to it.
Don't give up.
