The World as We know it Has Changed by Pastor Mark Jensen
Good morning friends and family of God Honor Strength, welcome to the beginning of a new week, a week where God wants to touch the lives of all of us. I hope each of you had an amazing and blessed weekend, and were able to spend time with family and friends, and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
This morning, I would like to talk to you about being a Christian, about believing in God, believing in his son, Jesus Christ.

There was a time, when being a Christian was widely accepted, in public, in schools, in the work place, in our government, pretty much everywhere. But now, it has gotten to a point where if you say God bless you to someone that sneezes, there is a good chance they will be offended. Now, there are those who want "In God We Trust" removed from anything and everything, including our currency because it infringes on their beliefs.

Well, what about my beliefs, what about the beliefs of every Christian, what about the beliefs of what this nation what built on. I am just dumb founded that our leaders in Washington are betraying each and every one of us, for fear of losing their corporate sponsorships, for fear of losing their jobs, for fear of upsetting the very same people who are trying to destroy this country. It is past the time of being "politically correct" and time to remove the evil that is allowing our nation to fall and to put our trust where it belongs, to put our trust in God.
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise - in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
Psalm 56:3-4

Each of us believe in our Father in Heaven, believe in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and when evil rears its ugly head and attacks us because of our beliefs, we need to fight back even harder. We need to come together, stand together, pray together and fight together. We have the most powerful force in the universe standing with us, and we can not fail. We can and will defeat the enemy, as long as we keep our faith and we keep our hope and we never denounce what we believe.

This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance. That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.
1 Timothy 4:9-10
The world as we know it, society as we know it, has changed and not for the better. What I can tell you is this, I will continue to say God Bless You to someone who sneezes, I will continue to salute the flag and say the Pledge of Allegiance every chance I get, I will continue to pray whenever and wherever I so choose, and if our President, our government, our elected officials are too afraid of losing their jobs to stand up for what they know is right, to stand up for their own people in fear of offending "someone" then they do not deserve the titles they hold and need to be replaced.

It is my hope and my prayer that all Christians, all people of faith, come together, join together, pray together and take this country back to where it once was. To unseat the politicians who support the companies that buy their elections and put those in office that will actually support the people of this once great nation. Our country has fallen, we as a society have rebuked God and we are now paying the price. Evil is taking over this country and those in power are allowing it. We as Christians are not the minority, we just have to raise our voices louder, we need to continue to believe, continue to have faith, continue to have hope, continue to pray, and God will be there for each of us.

If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, "Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile, the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Romans 10:9-13
As I speak a blessing over each of you this morning, always remember, I am here for you if you ever need to talk or get something off your chest or if you need prayer for yourselves, your family or your friends. Please do not hesitate to contact me.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

Dear Father God, thank you for blessing us with this day and loving us as Your children. Watch over each and every one of us as we start each day, as we go through this week, keeping us in the palm of Your hand. Guide us in our daily lives, directing us on the path You have planned for us, bringing forth the dreams you have planted in each of our hearts. For we know who we are and whose we are, children of the most high God. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

"Keep your Faith strong, your Hope alive and your Prayers never ending."
God Bless
Pastor Mark
