When A Curse Is Coming by John Hagee

Now follow this. The Bible says to bless those who persecute you. When you bless someone who curses you, it is not to demonstrate your goodness.

When A Curse Is Coming by John Hagee
Proverbs 26:2—Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, So a curse without cause shall not alight.

When A Curse Is Coming At Us Like A Daring Swallow, If It Is Undeserved, It Cannot Find A Place To Rest And Has To Return To The Sender!

Now follow this.  The Bible says to bless those who persecute you.  When you bless someone who curses you, it is not to demonstrate your goodness.  It’s not so you can say, “Well, I’m really holy.  I am a special child of God—me and St. Paul.  I should get me a cape with a big red A on it for ‘apostle.’”

That’s not the message.  It is to demonstrate that you’re overcoming evil with good, because when I bless you in the name of the Lord, an invisible shield surrounds me.  It is a prayer cover.  And when you curse me, that curse cannot stick.  If people curse me and I curse them back, then the root of bitterness gets in my heart and I’m separated from God.  Then I have no joy and peace.  But if someone curses me or says something hateful to me, and I bless them in the name of the Lord, in that instant a shield comes around me, and the curse without cause cannot come to rest.  Like a darting swallow it returns to the sender.
