Preach Truth, We Must Practice It! Part Two by John Hagee

Preach Truth, We Must Practice It! Part Two by John Hagee
Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel:  for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
We Must Not Only Preach Truth, We Must Practice It!
Part Two

It’s one thing to believe that what the Bible says about Jesus Christ is true—that the virgin birth is true, that Jesus died for our sins, that the resurrection is true that he is coming back again.

It’s another thing to believe that Jesus is the Truth.  That’s what Jesus himself proclaimed:  “I am the way, the truth, and the life:  no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6.  There is no other way to God.  There is no other truth.

Jesus Christ is the Ultimate Reality.   He spoke the heavens and earth into existence and he upholds all things by his power Colossians 1:16, Hebrews 1:3.  He is sovereign Lord of the universe.

Christianity is not just something we do on Sunday.  It is the way we live.  It is acknowledgment of the Truth.

To live in acknowledgment of the Truth means that you allow Jesus Christ to affect your relationship with your family and friends, to govern your business affairs, to direct your conduct and temper your speech.  Your words and your actions have eternal consequences.

The best way to be a godly influence in a godless society is simply to keep in mind that your represent the Truth every moment of your life…and then act accordingly.

Impossible?  No.  Difficult?  Often.

But there’s no alternative.  If you are a Christian, you are a witness for Jesus Christ in everything you do and say.  People in darkness are looking at your life to see the Light.
