What joy he finds in you, what glory he pours out for all to see. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows (Psalm 23:5). Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me (Psalm 23:4).
Though a dog return to his vomit, and a fool to his folly (proverbs 26:11). You have chosen the good portion, the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23). No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to man kind. And the Lord provides a way of escape from it all (1 Corinthians 10:13). Choose the good way, the faithful way. Stay in step with the Father. Don't rush out ahead of him, you may get lost.
And don't lag too far behind him, or he may fade from site. But stay step by step with him, like a delicate dance. He is the strongest of partners, let him take the lead. No worries, no cares to overtake you. Just a warm embrace, and a smile to melt your heart. God has showed up on the scene, yielding his battering ram of love.
Tearing down the walls you have erected, as deep calls unto deep (Psalm 42:7). His Joy has overtaken you, you have been rescued by his strong arm. He will uphold you with his righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10). Fear not dear one, your God has ransomed you (Isaiah 43:1)....
