Will you accept the guidance of the Father's hand. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). And I will restore to you the years that the locusts hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the Catapillar, and the palmerworm, My great army which I sent among you (Joel 2:25).
Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you (Zechariah 9:12). Do you think the indication here is that hope is our strong tower? When fear, depression, and anxiety knock, hope is our fortress of protection. Hold onto the Father's hand, put your back against the wind. Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance.
And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours (Isaiah 61:7). So when the storms of life slam ashore, and they threaten to overturn your little boat. Call out to the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost. The Holy Trinity is by your side.... and if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12). When your toe to toe with Satan and all his wicked ways, be quick to reach out for help, your strength is in your numbers.
How should one chase 1000, and two put 10,000 to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?(Deuteronomy 32:30). and if you were thinking I am all alone today. Just remember, you and God are a majority.....
