The gravy train is gone, but the glory train is on the way. Tickets come at a high price, which doesn’t include silver or gold.

It will cost, however, surrender, sacrifice, allegiance, trustworthiness, faithfulness, diligence, determination, blood, sweat and tears. A never say die, warrior mentality. The Army that God is building now, is not for the faint of heart. If you are into “Get it your way!” God will probably show you the highway.

Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves. Not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others (Philippians 2:3-4). In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path (Proverbs 3:6). I will illuminate your path, but you will not find it with your natural eyes.

It must be felt with your heart and soul. Only the most trusting with childlike faith will find it. Then he said, I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18:3). Turn to Me, trust in Me, I am not a man that I should lie. All my promises are Yes and Amen! Bring glory to your Father in heaven, and pull all thoughts into the obedience of Christ.

So shall I fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). We are the standard, won’t you join me in praying one for the other. Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results (James 5:16).

He will deliver even one who is not innocent, who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands (Job 22:30). I hear a mighty call from heaven for Armor Bearers to arise. Who will walk a mile with your brother. If a soldier demands that you carry his gear for a mile, carry it two miles (Matthew 5:41). Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help.

But someone who falls alone is in real trouble (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple braided cord is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12). As the darker days roll in, and the Son is not easily come by. Look toward your Savior, and His glory will light your way....
