I was taken to a vision of Jesus this morning. We were standing in a field full of beautiful golden wheat. It went on as far as the eye can see. He said, “The field is ready for harvest but I need your help!” The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37).
Let the wheat and the tare grow together until harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers first to gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn (Matthew 13:30).
Have your barns ready, because they are coming as surely as the sun shall rise, the broken, hurt and lost will come looking for me; you must be ready. What a cruel thing to be turned away due to lack of room at the Inn. God‘s purpose will prevail. But he needs safe Havens, gentle resting places for his people.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance (Psalm 16:6). Those who inherit the Lord, inherit a bountiful place. I leapt as a young calve let out to pasture, the joy of the Lord is my strength.
He is my refuge and high tower. Those who walk with the Lord, never walk alone....
