I knit you together in your mother’s womb. With a breath I called you forth, and with a breath I can claim you back. God is the great physician, all his promises are “Yes” and “Amen”. Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there?
Why then has the health of the daughter of my people not been restored (Jeremiah 8:22). If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord your Healer (Exodus 15:26). God is calling you out of Egypt, into the land of milk and honey.
A land flowing with abundance, a land where you can share. All that was lost or stolen will be returned to you sevenfold. As the Lord aches for your company, so you will long for his face. For God who said, let light shine out of the darkness, made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God‘s glory displayed in the face of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6). When people look at you, can they see the glory of Christ shining on your face. Have you been delivered from all that ails you.
Have you been set free, have your chains been removed. How can you say to your brother, “Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye, when you yourself fail to see the log in your own eye?” You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye (Luke 6:42). Make sure you clearly mirror, what your brothers and sisters are to attain. That you are a good example of what it is to follow Christ, not a horrible warning. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:12). Have you been apprehended by Christ today?
Have you relented under the gentle pressure of his hand? He will not force or berate you, but he will guide and protect you. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3). The Lord will give you tools to use, and strengthen your discernment. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you (Proverbs 2:11). No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way of escape so that you can endure it.
Have you shown endurance, have you been steadfast? Have you walked with purpose and passion, or have you shown the enemy the white flag. Even if you feel sorrowful, and even if you have cried to God. He will swoop in to protect you, like any good father would. But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you (Psalm 5:11).
Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I WILL NOW ARISE, says the Lord. I will protect them from those who malign them (Psalm 12:5). And may the Lord always answer you when you were in distress, may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. Rich or poor, saved or unsaved, God is with you!
He longs to hear your voice, to listen to your heartbeat. Call out to the maker of heaven and earth, invite him into your heart. Your life will never be the same, and his love will enwrap you. And you can walk forward with boldness, confidence and authority, and all He’s called you to be....
