So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
Romans 14:11-12
This morning as I was sitting here getting quiet with God, He reiterated the message He had placed on my heart yesterday and wanted to expand upon it this morning.
Yesterday I had talked about the choices we make and the lives that we live and each of us will stand before God in judgement the day our time on this earth is through. Let me say that again so nobody misses it. Each and every person born of this earth will stand before God in judgement, even if only for an instant. And when you stand before God the first words you will here will be one of two statements, both of which are in the Bible, and depending on what you hear, you will know where you will be spending eternity. If you hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant," you will spend eternity in Heaven. If your hear, "Depart from Me, I never knew you," you will be kneeling and confessing in hell for all eternity.
What we have to understand and have to share with everyone we meet, whoever will listen, is that God does not want anyone to spend eternity in hell, but at the same time, He will not force anyone to love Him and choose Him and He will get out of your way and honor your choice.
Gods word, is the truth and many have a hard time believing it because they have been lied to and brainwashed by society and by Hollywood. The realty is that every knee shall bow to Jesus and every tongue shall confess to God, it just depends on where you are when you realize it.
Let each of us insure the word of God is known to every person we know and every person whose path we cross. Then it is up to them to believe or not, but the day will come that every, and I mean every person will know the truth, but for so many, it will be too late for them and they will realize it when they hear, "Depart from Me, I never knew you."
