The Golden Calf by Tammy Lang Jensen

The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever (1 John 2:17). I call back everything that was lost or stolen at the hand of the enemy.

The Golden Calf by Tammy Lang Jensen
It is time to get rid of idols, to tear down the golden calf in your life. Moses took the calf the people had made and burned it in the fire; then he ground it to powder, scattered it on the water and made the Israelites drink it (Exodus 32:20).

If you are partaking in things you know God wants you to have no part in.

They need to become as chaff upon the threshing floor, burnt up and only the wheat saved. If you were the Lord, what would you harvest out of your life? What has bearded good fruit, what is worth duplicating our saving. It is time to release those areas that the Lord has long asked for. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever (1 John 2:17). I call back everything that was lost or stolen at the hand of the enemy.

Who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man like Satan and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger--so you must first bind the strongman. Then indeed you may plunder his house (Mark 3:27). Prayers invoking the power of Jesus Christ are able, our God is mighty to save. Jesus forgives you for all the years you stood unwittingly before pagan alters. The time is now to come out of Egypt and enter the throne room of God‘s grace. Say no to the world, and yes to Christ. Therefore my dear friends, flee from idolatry (1 Corinthians 10:14).

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21). I hear the Lord say,”Your life is not the Wizard of Oz, there is no good witch and bad witch.”

The word of God clearly says, Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live (Exodus 22:18). And if you are like the tin man and need a good heart, don’t seek out the wizard. Go to God for his word says, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). And if you are like the Lion, and it is courage you seek. God’s Word says, Be strong and courageous.

Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). And finally, if you are Dorothy and can’t seem to find your way home.

The Lord says, My word is a lamp to your feet, and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). So when in need of help, direction, love, and deliverance. Don’t call a witch or a wizard, but seek the one true living God. The Alpha and Omega, who knows the beginning from the ending. Beloved, I pray that it all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2)....
