To have you busy and distracted so you forget to pray. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
Most of the time, if we will still ourselves for a few minutes. We will get a sense of which way the Lord is leading. Just like the Scripture says: And thine ears shall hear a word behind the saying,”This is the way, walk in it”, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left (Isaiah 30:21). It really requires time and effort to get quiet and hear from the Lord, but He is so worth it. God’s words are more precious than rubies or gold.
And just as you have to dig deep to mine precious jewels. So you will have to dig into God’s word to excavate nuggets of truth. Little jewels that will change your life, and shift your circumstances. The word of God is life-changing, the word of God makes demons flee. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). Submit yourselves, then to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). So if you study the word daily, live a surrendered life, submit to God.
You have just exponentially increase your rate of success over the enemy. The fiery darts will still come, but as a servant of the most high God, you are covered. No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me, declares the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). So take heart, I have overcome the world....
