God With Us By Billy Graham
There is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
—Proverbs 18:24

How many lonely people there are today! God did not create man to live in miserable inner loneliness. In that first Eden, God Himself came down to keep the man He had made from being lonely.

One of the most heartening things Jesus said to His disciples was, “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28:20). He came to restore fellowship between man and God, and to take away human loneliness. Jesus Christ will take away loneliness from your soul. He will be your companion and friend.

Prayer for the day
You want to fill all the lonely moments, Lord, and turn them into times of incredible delight. May I never fear loneliness again.

Open Heavens: Hater of God? by Pastor E.A Adeboye
Memorise:
Thus saith the Lord; cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm and whose heart departed from the Lord. Jeremiah 17:5

Read: Romans 1:28-32 (KJV)
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Revelations 3:14-7:17,
Psalms 92

Message:
The situation around us today requires quick intervention because the society is becoming unsafe due to emerging trends. There are many people rising up in many quarters, questioning the rationality of looking unto God.

They hate the idea of putting God at the centre of human knowledge and existence. They question the efficacy of God’s knowledge and authority, and this is making the love of some believers wax cold. Haters of God are those who put the fear of man over and above the fear of God. They believe more in the inventions of man than in the creation of God. They are those who rely in their vain imagination rather than the absolute truth of God. They prefer to stay away from God and His house because they don’t want His truth to locate them. They prefer to use their wisdom to solve their problems rather than find solution in Christ alone. When they are in trouble, the first thing on their minds is running to the wrong place for solution, which eventually compounds their problem.

Looking up to a man when one should trust God can be a very futile endeavour. Those who put their confidence in man will always end up with frustrating experiences. If you keep to God He will keep you in perfect peace. There are many people who have no experience of what the Peace of God is. May this never be your portion in Jesus’ name.

Haters of God allow their hearts to be dominated by impure thoughts. They allow demons to control their hearts, and this is why they find it impossible to experience the Peace of God. You can make up your mind this day to be a lover of God.

Those who hate God will never know the peace of God. Don’t allow the power of hell to dominate your life. Every place of activity through which evil ideas come into your life must be avoided. Separate yourself totally from those things separating you from the blessings of God. Keep a distance from those negative connections and influences that lure you into evil including internet views and impure television programmes. Stop feeding your eyes with lust including items and materials. Don’t give yourself further to those things that will attract the wrath of God upon your life, things such as masturbation, fornication, incest, rape, same sex relationship, occultism, and pornography.

Through the power of God, you can dominate these evil practices that keep you away from the grace of God.

Prayer Point
Father, please give me the grace to please you.

He Opened the Way by Kenneth Copeland
In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.... And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us....

John 1:1,14, The Amplified Bible
The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ is something that can never be brought into question by any born-again believer. Our very salvation rests on the fact that Jesus Christ is divine, the second person of the Godhead, God—the Son.

The beloved disciple and apostle, John, forever puts to rest any doubt about that in John 1:1,14. Anyone who doubts what those verses say could not possibly have been born of the kingdom of God. For the deity of Jesus forms the very foundation of our faith in Him.

Yet, if you'll search the Gospels, you'll see that Jesus didn't go around proclaiming Himself as God during His 33 years on earth. He acknowledged that He was the Son of God, the Messiah. He referred to God as His Father (which enraged the Pharisees), but He never made the assertion that He was the Most High God. In fact, He told His disciples that the Father God was greater and mightier than He (John 14:28).

The reason is simple. He hadn't come to earth just as God. He'd come also as man. The Word says He set aside His divine power and took the form of a human being—with all its limitations. Since God was His Father, He was not born with the sin nature that had been passed along to the sons of Adam. But by being born of a woman, in all other respects He became a man and called Himself the Son of Man or, literally, the Son of Adam.

How, then, did He do all those mighty works? The same way He expects us to do them today—by the Anointing and the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 10:38). He said, "It's the Father within Me who does the work."

What does that mean to you? It means that Jesus meant exactly what He declared when He said that you, as a believer, would be able to do the works that He did (John 14:12)!

It means that you, as a reborn child of God, filled with the same Holy Spirit as Jesus was, have the opportunity to live as He lived when He was on earth.

In fact, that is exactly what He intends. He went before you, as a man, and opened the way. Don't just admire Him for it. Follow Him in it today!

John 14:1-15

You Don’t Have to Forget by Rick Warren
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28 NIV).

You’ve heard this phrase over and over: “Forgive and forget.” There’s only one problem with it: You can’t do it. It’s impossible! You really can’t forget a hurt in your life. In fact, you can’t even try to forget it. Because when you’re trying to forget, you are actually focusing on the very thing you want to forget.

Forgetting is not what God wants you to do. Instead, he wants you to trust him and see how he can bring good out of it. That’s more important than forgetting, because then you can thank God for the good that he brought out of it. You can’t thank God for things you forget.

Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (NIV).

It doesn’t say that all things are good, because all things are not good. Cancer is not good. Disease is not good. Death is not good. Divorce is not good. War is not good. Rape and abuse are not good. There are a lot of things in life that are evil. Not everything that happens in this world is God’s will.

But God says he will work good out of the bad things in life if you will trust him. When you come to him and say, “God, I give you all the pieces of my life,” he will return peace for your pieces. He gives you peace in your heart that comes from knowing that even if you don’t understand the hurt in your life, you can still forgive, knowing that God will use that pain for good.

You don’t have to forget the wrong thing that someone did to you. You can’t do it even if you tried! But God says you don’t have to forget it. You just have to forgive and then see how he will bring good out of it.

Talk It Over

What do you need to do today to forgive someone who has wronged you so you can move on?
How have you seen God work good in your life from difficult situations?

Two Kinds of Promises by Dr. Charles Stanley
Joshua 23:14

The Bible records two kinds of promises from the Lord—unconditional and conditional. An unconditional pledge is one whose fulfillment rests solely with God; His commitment is independent of people and situations. An example would be His covenant never to send another flood to destroy the entire earth (Gen. 9:11). No matter how the world behaves, He will not take this action again.

The second type of divine promise is conditional. In other words, the Lord is willing to act under certain circumstances. It’s often written as an “if-then” statement and involves our cooperation. Let’s look at three conditional promises involving salvation, forgiveness, and wisdom.

• Romans 10:9 tells us that salvation is promised to those who confess with their mouth and believe in their heart that Jesus is Lord. We are saved when we genuinely trust in the Savior.

• If we come to the Lord with sincere confession of sin, we have the assurance of divine forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9). The Lord’s fulfillment of this vow depends upon our obedient action.

• James 1:5-6 instructs us to ask God for wisdom without doubting that we will receive it. If we approach the Lord with faith, then He will give us understanding.

God will do exactly what He’s promised. But He requires our obedient cooperation before fulfilling His conditional pledges. To receive the blessing, we must satisfy the conditions He has set. If you are waiting for the Lord to fulfill His promise, check to be sure you are carrying out your part.

A Net for Your Steps by Deborah Waldron Fry
Beloved. Every day, the enemy attempts to trip you up. Without cause, He digs a pit for your soul, hoping that you will fall into it. Though the devil prepares a net for your steps, I will cause him to fall into the midst of it himself. Though the adversary secretly lays a trap for you, I will reveal it to you by My Spirit. The evil one shall fall into his own nets while you pass by safely. For you are on MY highway of holiness.

No ravenous beasts may come upon it, only My Redeemed walk here. I am the Way. Follow no one but Me, Dear One. Many who call themselves leaders are but blind guides. If a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit. I alone have brought you up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and set your feet upon My Rock, making your footsteps firm. I am your Refuge and your Fortress, your God who is worthy of your trust.

Rejoice, Beloved, and no longer fear what man nor demon can do to you. By of the Blood of the Lamb, I have set the prisoners free from the pit. I have delivered you from the snare of the fowler. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, My Child, because you walk in MY Righteousness. Be encouraged, Beloved. I hold you in My Hand and no one can pluck you from it. I am well able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the Presence of My Glory, with exceeding joy.

..Jude 1:24 24Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, 25To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

..Zechariah 9:11As for you also, because of the blood of My covenant with you, I have set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.

..Proverbs 26:27 He who digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone, it will come back on him.
..Psalm 57:6 They have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down; They dug a pit before me; They themselves have fallen into the midst of it. Selah.

..Psalm 141:10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, While I pass by safely.
..Matthew 15:14 "Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit."

..Matthew 12:11And He said to them, "What man is there among you who has a sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not take hold of it and lift it out?

..Psalm 40:2He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.

..Psalm 91:2I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!" 3For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence.

..John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me

It seems to us that there has been a 'silent divorce' in the church, speaking generally, between the Word and the Spirit. When there is a divorce, some children stay with the mother, some stay with the father.

In this divorce, there are those on the 'word' side and those on the 'Spirit' side. What is the difference?

God's Timing by Pastor Mark Jensen
There will be times that we feel like we are doing everything right, doing everything that is asked of us, yet we do not see any "harvest".

That is when we need to stop listening to our own thoughts our own doubts and increase our faith. We tend to want instant results, instant gratification, when we need to remember that God's timing is perfect.

Do not give into the enemies deceit and lies. Instead, thank God for all that he has given you and all that has been promised.

Keep your Faith strong, your Hope alive and your Prayers never ending.
