In continuation with the write-up in Part 12 (Esther 1:10) As stated that what the king would not normally do, he did under the influence of wine.....Alcoholic consumption lead to CONFUSION as stated in the book of (Proverbs 23 : 29-30). SEXUAL IMMORALITY is associated with the spirit of alcohol as could be seen in the book of (Proverbs 23 : 33) thus: "Your eyes will see strange things and your heart will utter perverse things." some of which have led to incest- the book of (Genesis 19 : 33-35) is a pointer to this thus:
"So they made their father drink wine that night, And the first born went in and lay with her father, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.....It happened on the next day that the first born said to the younger, 'indeed i lay with my father last night, let us make him drink wine tonight also, and you go in and lie with him, that we may preserve the lineage of our father? "Then they made their father drink wine that night also, And the younger arose and lay with him, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.
" BEHOLD!...YOUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF GOD>The spirit of alcohol makes the Holy-Spirit to step aside in the lives of drunkards. The book of (1st. Cor. 3: 16-17) read thus: "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwellls in you?...If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." God Is Good....
